Love this article and its point on IMO. Cal is a great recruiter(although I think he cheats like hell), but as game coach, he is avg at best and last nite was a prime example of that. I literally lol when Barkley said Cal was the best college coach in the country.

I used to rag on Cal a lot as a game coach, but he has really improved in that area. Still only average, imo, but he has gotten a lot better. Mostly in the fact he makes adjustments that I like and they work out a lot. Offensively, well, its not much of an offense...but he does make adjustments on that side as well, utilizing match-ups and spacing nicely.

I guess the experience of UCONN's starters didn't matter. I've listened all morning to the pundits praising Ollie and bashing Calipari to a degree.

This game was lost at the free throw line. How many points were left on the floor because of missed free throws and how many of those misses were one-and ones? Calipari switched to a zone when UCONN was threatening to run away. Wasn't that a good move?

This was a players game and Kentucky's players did not make their free throws.

Well this women's game was anti-climactic. UConn women are scary good, congrats to that athletic program for getting both titles once again. So damn fundamentally sound

In regard to the women's tournament, the only other coach alive apparently capable of winning it no longer enters a team. Oh, the drama. There are games of solitaire that are more competitive.

Some sad news for everyone's morning. Princess Lacey has passed away. The little girl suffering from neuroblastoma, who befriended Adriean Payne, lost her battle.
Damn, that's too bad...the piece on BTN about her and Payne was emotional as hell...thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Yeah, I watched that and she seemed in pretty good spirits and health, there. Very sad.

While it's sad, it's neat that she got to experience that before her passing.

Yeah. Crazy stat: Pat Summit and Geno Auriemma own 17 of the last 28 women's national championships, and Geno has won 4 of the past 6.. I mean, come on, everyone else is playing for second.

It's probably little solace to the family at the moment, but it's cool that she got to follow Payne and Michigan State around in his last tournament before passing on. Moments like this are always great reminders that sometimes life just sucks.

Yeah....very fundamentally sound!

It really is like watching a HS boys game. Just very little athleticism going on and seems in slow motion.

I watched less than 5 minuts mostly because it was the champ game, and maybe long enough to see if there were any attractive players.

I was let down.

Not just unwatchable basketball, but unwatchable basketball with a foregone conclusion. I'd rather watch 2 hours of rain delay baseball loaded with the same sit-down player interviews I'd seen the last rain delay game.

I watched a lot of the Carolina women this year. It wasn't that bad.

Obviously the athleticism isn't the same as the men's game, but it wasn't as bad as it can be. It definitely wasn't pretty to watch(in more ways than one); maybe it's just their style. Carolina women are a true run and gun, so it's uptempo.
