Probably not. I am okay with how things are going at the moment, so I will just go with the flow.

If you could see the future, then you would know how to control your life, thus no longer guaranteeing that the future you saw would take place.

Tell that to friends and family of the people who died in the Final Destination movies.

I think I know what my future may hold, and I'm not willing to let that happen.
For months I have been thinking of what I should do .... I'm sure I know what needs to happen to alter the course of my future. I will start with a 30 pound weight losing program, work on my health, close my companies, relieve my stress, file more medical claims with the VA, see if I can work out that VP job in Chicago, in 8 months get my Medicare, in one year a four months collect SS, maybe keep working for under the table benefits or just take a security job at one of the local college, drive around in a golf cart and look at the girls getting a sun tan in the summer. My future looks good

Not even like 1 year? What if you could control what you saw? I'm guessing most people saying no just don't want to see themselves die.

What if you're in for a life of misery? I don't want to be depressed about becoming depressed.

I will be in the golf cart with Belly MOFO.

Yes, I would look at the future only if I knew I could change it if I wanted to.

Well, many reasons.

But even in your example I would have the same answer. Why take the chance you might know you die in 3 months??

As sonofanump pointed out, I would do it for gambling purposes, which would easily change your course of life. I would be depressed to see the browns have never won a title though.
