Congrats to Cthelites and his family....well deserved. Enjoy and cherish that moment when you see your son come out of the tunnel at the Schott! I can't be any happier for you!

Great job to all scioto wrestlers who wrestled at this year's district meet. Brought 3 guys placed 22 and had 1 qualifier in Brennan Sawicki (Hvy). Scioto still going strong with a state qualifier since opening in 1995!! Good luck to all central district qualifiers next week!!

Currently I am uploading about a half a dozen remaining matches of one type of go-to or the other (semifinal or conso-semifinal).

The goal was to capture some of the emotion from wrestlers, coaches, family and fans. It kind of came off, but not as much as I thought it would. Oh well. It is forever etched in time now.

Congrats to all the SQ and want to send a really big CC...HS to Josh Wimer pinned Penzone for the second week in a row! No easy task all the Crossing kids showed what hard work can make happen! Also to Nick Hammond first round got beat then stepped up big time and comes all the way back to 4th real heart on display. Good luck this week central district make a impact!

Fun Fact: Only one of the 4 HWT's advancing to the Schott was a Sectional Champ. Did any other weight class have a similar purge of Sectional champs?

ITC Nostradamus Prediction of the Weekend: Both of the Triansue brothers from Jerome finishing 5th in their respective divisions.

You guys will no doubt get a lot of grief for the picks you had wrong, but that heartbreak prediction was spot on. I know you'd probably have been happy to have been wrong on this prediction, but you nailed it.

I feel for the Triansue family, fortunately Soph Seth has a couple of more shots at the Schott. Really feel for brother Josh. If Lee doesn't move in from Indiana (or moves to any other District), Josh is probably wrestling at State next week. He's had a heck of career, State or not.

Dust E.: as I stated somewhere else, I've never once felt the feeling of gloating about a correct pick. However, I have been thrilled for kids who I didn't pick. I had a couple of kids walk up to me yesterday, shake my hand, and tell me they proved me wrong. What a joy to congratulate them on their hard work.

I even had a couple coaches inform me that the picks motivated them throughout the week hoping to prove us wrong! On the one hand, it unfortunate that it took ITC to motivate you to want to be one of the top kids in the state at your weight class and represent your school in front of the entire state! But on the other hand, who cares!?!?! You are there!!!!!!

Again, congrats to the state qualifiers, and district place winners.

Well I can say that in my son's case you called it pretty close your first episode this season said watch out for him come district's and then in your last episode you said 3rd @ 170 so pretty much nailed it there! Thanks it has been fun to watch each week.

How they knew he was gonna be up in the 3rd get injured, lose in the last minute and then storm back to a 3rd place finish is amazing. These guys are scary!
