High school/college is a big difference I agree. But once she goes to college it's basically the same thing. College is college. Age begins to gray. And I'm missing this merely by months. I see no problem with it. I'm not taking advantage. I'm just hanging out.

And you don't got worry about me getting her alcohol. She gets that on her own. And I'm not going to tell her no. Not my problem.

When I was 18 and out of high school, I still wasn't allowed to stay out after midnight. Not as long as I was living with my mom. Her house, her rules, and that's just the way it was.
Lots of parents out there like that.

While I was in college, I still had rules at home. The older I got, they became "expectations." I really had no argument for my parents until I finally cut myself (financially) loose. As long as you got parents paying for something, they're in control.

Actually most people I think would really question this. And yes, there is a huge difference from 14 to 17, 15 to 18, and 18 to 21. 21 to 24 it is much closer, the 30 to 33 it isn't even something to note, but at those ages, 14-17 and 18 to 21 are huge.

All girls these days have crabs or kids by the time they get to college, so you have to get to them while their young, I guess.
