As soon as she's 18 you don't really have a choice. Hell, you don't really have a choice prior. You had try your best to say no, but you don't have them on a leash. If they want to do it, they will.power i wrote: No way in hell is my still 17 year old high school daughter dating a 21 year old, nor would my 21 year old son date a 17 year old high school girl. High school/college is a big difference I agree. But once she goes to college it's basically the same thing. College is college. Age begins to gray. And I'm missing this merely by months. I see no problem with it. I'm not taking advantage. I'm just hanging out.2quik4u wrote:One is in high school, the other in college big differencejmog wrote: So most people are ok with an senior in HS dating a freshmen (3 years) when its 17 to 14 or 18 to 15, but 21 to 18 is not ok?
Give me a break, 21 to 18 is fine and about the most I'd be "ok" with if I was the dad of the girl.
Of course, I'd threaten him within an inch of his live if he got her any alcohol.
And you don't got worry about me getting her alcohol. She gets that on her own. And I'm not going to tell her no. Not my problem.
