There are two ways of looking at this. On one hand, he's obviously in the "too stupid to insult" category where he's completely cool with the fact he's a deadbeat who everyone looks at as a big ol' bitch, where being negged to nothing and having his avatar and shit changed hasn't gotten any response other than one whiny bitch post.

On the other, when someone is a piece of shit, it's good to make sure everyone knows that, so he can be roundly mocked and ridiculed until everyone's gotten their fill of insulting the lowlife.

Nothing is quite so funny as when a guy who proclaims himself as some sort of puppet master type is so easy to get all pissy. Looks like someone pulled your strings and you danced, bitch!

As for the Olympics themselves, things seem kind of lulzy. When it's to the degree where a media member can tweet that they actually had a good room with working doors, a clean bed and running water and the general response is disbelief, you know things might not be where they should be. I've read stuff like how one person's door was locked, so maintenance people kicked it down in order to install cable or something like that.

reporter on ESPN said that in the middle of the night her heard someone outside jiggling keys and thought it was for a diff room, and then his door opened. The person saw someone was inthere and then close the door and left!

Can't be true. The doors don't even have doorknobs.

To anyone in Sochi: I am now in possession of three light bulbs. Will trade for a door handle. This offer is real.\

You just want to look at some of the curling babes!

Many of the speed events I think would suck in person. If you are the end you see the time and compare it, but at least on TV you get to see the splits and see where they are at.

It is almost like watching the 100 meters with one runner going at a time...totally not that fun to watch.
They have timing mechanisms in high school that show splits and everything. I'm quite certain the Olympics will as well.

They also have the big screen up with the international feed. Not NBC quality, but good.

that is of course if are close enough to see it, and also if you have to rely on the big screen then why not watch it on tv?

Hey Heretic...I thought you "blocked" me. Guess not huh? Yeah didn't think so, when you wake up the first thing you do is run to see what Tiernan might have said overnight.

As for Sochi - who is surprised by this BS? Not me, I called it 4 yrs ago.

Most of these hotel issues people are mentioning I've had happen to me once or twice over the years (good hotels, too). Not to say it isn't real, but part of me does wonder how much of this is driven by media wanting to embarrass Russia. I mean, the State Dept just issued a warning "not to expect any privacy, even in your own room". Just a little hard to dismiss any political motivations here, especially since Putin has embarrassed the US more than a few times over the past year or two.

It's payback for Snowden!!!!!:RpS_razz:
