Hmmmm....this guy gets free publicity for the suckers who plunk down $20 admission to his museum, and the left gets to make religion and conservatives look foolish (you know, because MOST people take the bible literally :RpS_blink:)

You could put a monkey up there against religious folk and the religious folk will always look like a fool. Religion has no place in society other than to waste everyone's time with meaningless BRAINWASHED garbage. If you believe in a religious god, just kill yourself and go be with him.

What makes a Religious person stupid?

What do Marissa Mayer, Mitt Romney, Donnie Smith, Jeff Swartz, David neelman all have in common?

A debate like this does not represent a "religion versus atheism" debate. There are a lot of people who believe in God and in evolution.

Religion is based on made up ideas that have never been proven. If science worked like that, you might as well live in the stone age.

This.

Religion and god were created to explain things that people couldn't find answers for. Can't wrap your mind around something? Well that's just gods plan.

Lets use Christianity for example, as it relates to this particular thread. Is your argument that the Bible is 100% false and none of the events claimed in the bible actually occured? Or do you believe that some pieces of the bible are true and some are false? Have you actually read the bible or are you claiming that a book you have not read is fiction?

Let us use psychics for example as it relates to this particular thread. Is your argument that all psychics are 100% false and none of the events they "predict" actually occurred? Or do you believe that some pieces of the prediction are true and some end up being false? Have you actually called ms cleo or you claiming a person that you have not met isn't a real psychic?

I'm sure some events in the bible are true, just like I'm sure some of the events of the movie 'Titanic' actually happened. That doesn't mean Jack fucked Rose in the back of a car and it certainly doesn't mean I'm going to base my entire life around the belief that he did.

I fail to see how talking about Psychics relates to a Evolution VS. Creation debate, nor have I made any comments/suggestions that Psychics are stupid or wrong. I will answer your questions however, From the christian biblical point of view there are Psychics that can predict events of the future and see into one's past. Acts 16: 16-18 tells of a fortune teller that was able to predict the future, until Paul with the help of God cast a demon out her. If one believes in the bible & Christianity, then one believes the psychics can exist. Whether a person is really a Psychic or is a Scam artist is a different question, and the answer varies case by case. I have not met Ms Cleo, nor am I claiming that she does not posses Psychic abilities.

Now will you answer my questions?

Your comparison is not valid IMO. Titanic is a movie created primarily for entertainment/business purposes, The movie does not and was not created to give you the principles in which to life your life to. If a person does not believe the Titanic existed, a person can go see for themselves the titanic on the bottom of the ocean floor. If said person sees the titanic for himself, and still chooses to believe the titanic is made up or fairy tail, then that person is a fool.

There is not 100% proof that God/Jesus are fake, and likewise there is not 100% proof that God/Jesus exist in the capacities that the bible claims. If people of a religion have a certain practice/set of beliefs that are different then your own, they are not automatically wrong and dumb, no matter how many times you say they are without providing proof or facts.
