No sir. Just Ohio. We are planning on war with a Michigan clan soon. I think it would on Nov 21st to declare with a bunch of Michigan related clans.

I'm tearing it up at TH10 upgrade wise, but about to settle back and just live off of my collectors...I'm burnt out on farming.

-I have Pekka 5 now, Golem 5 in the works, Freeze 3 going to 4 soon, Wizards level 6....So not a lot of offense left to research.
-My 3rd DE drill will be maxed next week, so I'll make 7200 DE per day doing nothing.
-Both Inferno Towers are on their way to level 3, so hopefully that will deter people from jacking my stuff.

-Archer Queen is at 15 and Barb King is at 10. Words of advice - ALWAYS UPGRADE YOUR AQ, NEVER STOP. I took a break from upgrading her when I got both heroes to 10...You NEED high level heroes down the road if you are going to continue playing the game for a long time, they make a huge difference. Barb king is kind of meh, but the AQ is critical. I'm getting the AQ to level 20, maybe even 25 ASAP. I'll sprinkle in BK upgrades if I have spare DE.

I just used some gems to get a week-long shield. Needed to get it to keep from being attacked and stock up on gold/elixir/DE.

I couldn't keep on going without it. I try farming and get raided all the time. Lose so much. This way, I should be able to stock up nicely and use clanwar loot to get some upgrades done.

How often do you "farm"? By that I mean, do you ever in a day or a week sit down for 1-2 hours straight and just "farm" for resources?

If yes, you should be able to "barch" (barbs and archers) with 1 or 2 boosted barracks for 2 hours, and pull in approximately 2-4 mil gold and 2-4 mil elixir in that 2 hour period, in an average 2 hours. I would recommend gold 1 or gold 2 league for this. You just keep loading up your barracks with barbs and archers so they are cooking while you hit next, and just keep on nexting until you get a collector raid (visibly full elixir pumps and gold mines) on the outside...You might next for 5-10 minutes straight sometime, but you will find raids for 500k resources with regularity doing this, then when you are done with the raid you should have full camps ready to go for another search. The key is just to be patient and keep nexting, you might blow 80k gold nexting but you'll find a 300k gold and 300k elixir dead base pretty regularly.


As for DE, it's all in the crystal league mostly...If you are a TH9, or when you become a TH9, you will be able to find plenty in the crystal league.


If you don't farm for a few hours straight ever, I'd recommending getting to TH9, upgrading balloons and minions, then farm in crystal league using the 'balloonion strategy' once every few hours...Keep your town hall exposed to pick up mostly snipes so that people aren't taking your resources.


Based on your recent posts it looks like you might still be TH8...TH8 blows defensively, you can't defend against TH9 or TH10, you'll just get crushed...I'd jump to TH9 if you haven't already, get your balloons, get your additional spells, and your additional camp space.

I've gotten to the point where I don't farm a whole lot, so I'm sitting in crystal 1 using balloonion for 1 raid every 2-3 hours during the day. I've done 3 attacks today:

180k gold, 240k elix 4000 DE
250k gold, 250k elix 2400 DE
200k gold, 240k elix 1300 DE

those were all wins in crystal league, so add on 195k gold and 195k elix and 900 DE for the 3 league win bonuses


You can do that strategy as a TH9, so you may want to try to get to that point if you have limited play time

I'm not about strategizing for an iPhone game. I just use my collectors and only attack during war, with dragons. It makes like 1.5Mgold and 1M elixir every other day. That's plenty for my purposes.

Yeah, still TH8. I don't really have the time to farm quickly or often enough -- that's probably the biggest downfall I have for this game.

I'm saving up my elixir now to upgrade to TH9. I'm not fully upgraded in defenses yet, but hope to get closer and closer as I continue to save up a good amount regularly. I just continue to get attacked.

I use McFly's strategy of barbs and archers 2 hours at a time. Do it while watching TV with the wife. He's right. Easy way to make a couple mill.

Yeah I do the same. 200 level 5 archers and a barb king. 200k a piece every time.

Been using your attack. I have max minions and lava hounds. Level 5 balloons. Level 4 rage spells.

I haven't really been that active lately, but this has been working so well, I've attacked like 4 times today. Got close to 1.5mil of each elixir and gold, and maybe 4-5K DE.
