He was also banging other players wives. There are two known and it broke up one marriage.

Hmmmmm...just 3 days after Tiger looked like his season was done in Akron, he miraculously recovers and will play this weekend at the PGA Championship.
Although I think the PGA tournament needs Tiger in the mix, I think he's an ass and a phoney. His "injury" this past weekend at Bridgestone was 99% bullshit IMHO. He was getting his ass kicked and decided to quit mid-stream to rest up for the PGA Championship.

Rory with 2 great saves and then just ridiculous knocking his 2nd shot just 5 feet away on the 597 yard par 5.

Tiger drives into far left rough on 1st tee...not a good start. That being said, I think Rory sold his soul to the devil--he's playing unreal!!!

If Watson picks Woods as the at-large position on the Ryder Cup team he's an idiot.wildcats20;1641985 wrote:Whatever you say.

Rory is really starting to take that next step. Dude is rolling putts left and right and dominating like Tiger did 10 years ago. If he can win this it's one of the most impressive runs ever winning the British-Bridgestone-PGA. That is beyond extremely difficult

I can't stand it when someone gets hot, wins a couple of tournaments, and all of a sudden we're comparing him to Tiger....if Rory's still dominating for the next couple of years, come back and tell me then...smfh.

Word. Tiger had 8 majors at age 27. So far, Rory has 8 PGA wins...total.vball10set;1642632 wrote:I can't stand it when someone gets hot, wins a couple of tournaments, and all of a sudden we're comparing him to Tiger....if Rory's still dominating for the next couple of years, come back and tell me then...smfh.

I actually agree with this. But it wouldn't have mattered. Tiger was too good.ccrunner609;1642647 wrote:overall tour is way more competitive than it was when Tiger was winning.

Not even a question Vball, even the pros themselves talk about how competitive the tour is now compared to 10 yrs ago. We are entering a new Golden Age similar to the late 60s to mid 70s on the PGA.
The Tiernan Golf & Fish tourney is tomorrow, hope it doesn't take too much away from the Championship.

Everybody does, because it's always better, in every sport... but it's all relative. Tiger was dominant in his time (and a lot of people think he still can be, but not me), as Jack was before him, and Arnie before him, and so on.Laley23;1642654 wrote:I actually agree with this. Tiger was phenomenal from 99 - 02 but for a long stretch he didn't have anybody pushing him, I love it when Speith said "Tiger was my idol when I was younger..." Speith is 21!!!

Good tournament. Rory is not greatly sharp today but putting and chipping rule golf.

14 within three shots of the lead, and 5 tied for first at 12 under...wow.
