Can't stand him but hell of a few days for Patrick Reed. 3.5 points undefeated

Mahan should have told his caddy to shut the fuck up.

Except that his caddie was telling him to hit an easier shot.

It's over.

Keegan is one tied hole away from it being official.

Speith with an epic choke job. Mahan at least have himself a shot to win after Rose went nuts in the middle holes. Then he chokes it away on 18 though. Fowler couldn't do anything, Rory was Tigeresque today. Unreal.

The real question I have, does anyone still think Keegan Bradley is any good?

Also, Europe has a ton of guys who show emotion...we have 1 in Reed (and Bradley when he isn't losing). Any surprise Reed is the only guy who actually won matches this weekend??

He hit the shot his caddy wanted right? It may have been easier but he didn't look like he wanted it at all and the result showed, that's what I was saying. Not saying his way would have been better but he would have been more comfortable with it. Either way you're right, that was a terrible freaking shot for a player of his caliber.

Just a hit a normal chip. Why on earth would you try a flop from there??

No. His caddie wanted him to hit a little flop and have it land and roll out a few feet. Hunter hit a full flop and executed it terribly.

Yeah, they ruled out the bump and run. It was hero flop (land soft like 5 feet away) or flop over the ridge and roll 10-15 feet past. He went hero and hit it approximately 7.6 miles to far.

Ah, got it. My damn Satellite isn't working so watching on my ipad and may have missed what was going on. Mahan needs to just retire from the Ryder Cup as well as half of the damn team.

Zach Johnson and Dubuisson have halved all 10 holes with pars. And they haven't shown one single shot of that match.

@BobHarig: Had Spieth, Mahan won after holding big leads, score now would be Europe 12-11. Big deal... If, if, if

The worst part is that our team (at least a number of them) is good enough to earn points all season, but they aren't winners.

Mahan
Simpson
Bradley

Those 3 stand out as guys who are consistently getting points towards the Ryder Cup, but never really competing for titles, despite Bradley and Simpson having Majors.

BTW, very easy.

You play 4 matches in the morning and 4 in the afternoon on Friday and Saturday (different formats) and everyone on team plays a singles match Sunday. You win, you get a point. You tie, half point. Lose, none. So there are 28 total points to be had. Loser of previous Ryder Cup needs 14.5 to win, winner just needs 14 to retain.

The reason we lost, short game. Absolutely terrible this week while Europe dominated on the greens. That chip by Keegan was seriously so bad to lose, I mean I don't know how you do not get it close with a 60 degree and that much green to work with.

Mickelson and Bradley being benched isn't that big of a deal either, Watson said Phil was hitting the ball terribly and was mechanically off. Rory though being -5 thru 6 is nuts, guy is at Tiger 2000 level right now

I'm not sure why people don't like Reed. He just won two tournaments and some guy asked him where he would rank himself. What do you think a guy who just beat everyone two weeks in a row would say.

Considering his previous Ryder Cup history with in clutch chippping situations it wasn't terrible, it was routine lol.
