I like to dip fries in A1. A good steak doesn't need it, but it isn't a sin to put it on a bad one.

Love A1 on steak fries but has no business on a steak.

"My wife and I went to dinner a Ruths Chris a couple years ago with 2 other couples. One of the other girls ordered the filet well done (first foul) and then had the nerve to ask for A1."

OMG my parents did the same thing at the Palm. Filet Mignon...well done. Steak sauce requested. I thought the waiter was going to have a heart attack. Different people like things cooked in different ways I guess. A buddy of mine saw Emmitt Smith pour ketchup on a steak at Bob's in Big D.

I don't think I have peculiar tastes other than lack of taste. Never use condiments and don't understand why mayonnaise has to be slathered on everything.

Steak sauce is disgusting, and if you think you need it, find someone that can actually cook a steak. Any steak cooked more than medium rare, should just be thrown directly into the trash.

I've never understood why people get so bothered about how other people like their foods.

Had a steak and asked for it rare and they asked if rare or pittsburgh rare.
Didnt know the difference until then.

They brought out steak sauce without even asking.
I wasnt going to use it, but the steak wasnt that great so I partook. Been awhile since I had used steak sauce.

I have an irrational dislike over people smelling everything they eat. Drives me crazy for some reason.

Smell is connected to taste and can either enhance the perceived positive taste or can influence it in an opposite way.

I admit I smell some of my food at times. Not ever bite, or every time, but maybe if I hadnt had it before.

I'm eating medium well venison steak right now. No steak sauce, so I threw some tabasco on it.

Hope this helps.

That is a different story. People can do whatever they want with a venison steak, ham steak, turkey steak, tuna steak, fake steak, tent stake, etc.

Just don't touch the beef [steak] with sauce!
