Just got done with the OSU and Oregon Media Day. From talking to players on both teams, they can't wait to just get on the field.

Also, a lot of OSU players said it's a much different feel from last year to this year, being in the Rose Bowl as opposed to Fiesta.

The Oregon team seemed a little smug and cocky, whereas the Buckeye boys seemed ready for battle.

Can't wait for Friday! I'll continue to post updates from the media hoopla.

Everything i've read I've been getting that feeling from Oregon all week.

Listening to their D-Coordinator, he sounds like an arrogant son of a bitch

Have you visited In N Out Burger yet?

Oregon/Pac-10 fans I have encountered have already given themselves a victory.

Why didnt Tressell let the guys go out and purchase dockers? Or borrow from a teammate? The ones made to stay home from the team dinner the other night?

If he wants to live before the game DO NOT get In n out burger. It makes Mcdonalds look like a 5 star restaurant.

I an anxious for more reports.

It was not one; it was several guys.

2ndly, you'd think that something like that would be common sense when you packed; you have the itinerary in hand before you leave about your activities for the week, and Lowry's is an upscale restaurant(or at least it looks that way). If you don't meet the dress code, you don't go to dinner. I don't see a problem with it

Ignore this blasphemous rhetoric. In N Out is a premier West Coast fast food institution.

in all honesty, how did you expect Oregon to be acting? You call it cockiness they may call it confidence.

Oregon has pretty good reason to have some swag. Nobody really runs an offense like they do, and where they do share concepts with other systems their execution is just different. No one has found an answer for them, they only way to beat them is to outscore them, not exactly OSU's strong suit. The bucks have the personnel to provide an answer for Masoli and Co. but it remains to be seen if they will do it.

its not like the Bucks are flying blind into this no huddle up tempo stuff... both Toledo and Michigan gave them a preview(albeit it tiny) of what they'll see....
wish they'd have played Northwestern, its fairly similar

Yeah I wasn't really saying that Oregon was a bunch of world beaters, I just said that maybe LhsLep's status as an Ohio St. broadcaster is might be leading to him interpreting their confidence as "cockiness." Not saying they are justified for acting like a bunch of jackasses (don't know what they are doing), I just think that is perfectly normal for a team to have a little bit of swagger. Did Lep really expect them to be acting like they are just happy to be there?

Ohio St handled both Toledo and Michigan with ease. However, I'm not sure how much those games are going to help them now. Both teams were completely overmatched. Northwestern would probably be a better gauge, you're right.

I've said this since this game was made:

If Ohio State holds them to 21 or less, they win

If Oregon wins 28+,they win in a blowout

I watched the local news tonight and the Oregon TE and WR were laughing at the OSU db's, they said that OSU 's major weakness is in the secondary and Friday should be a fun day for them......This is the second time that I have seen Oregon players way to cocky in a TV interview.

they shouldn't have been laughing, but they are right about Ohio State's secondary. Especially at the CB position.

Our CB's have the talent to play well especially if our defensive line gets pressure on Masoli, which they should.

I am pretty sure they don't want to be laughing at Coleman or Hines though coming over the middle.

Not sure, he has had some bad games recently but unlike many on the board I don't think he is terrible.

From what I have been hearing, I think his head got alittle too big after playing well and thinking about going pro. I don't think his focus is all there but he does have the capability of playing extremely well tomorrow.

1. It's LHS.
2. If you have a problem with me being both a Florida fan and OSU fan then don't post on my threads, it's that simple. I can't help that my entire family has gone to OSU except for one uncle who went to Florida, and I happened to grow up rooting for both because they never played each other, until 2007, and even then I rooted hard for OSU.

Jordo: Being here, I have to try to be as objective as possible, and trust me, it was more than confidence. Confidence is believing in yourself. Cockiness is talking down the other team. And they did a lot of talking down the OSU defense and offensive line.

Updates:
1.Pryor's knee is completely fine. What I mean by that is from talking to both him and Tressel, he has regained the mobility he had lost. Is there discomfort? Sure, but he said it's a lot better than it was in November.

2. The rest of the team is fully healthy. The starting offensive line is LT Cordle LG Boren C Brewster RG Browning RT Shugarts. Tressel said Marcus Hall and Mike Adams will both get playing time, and Andrew Moses will be the 8th lineman, if needed.

3. IF there is going to be trickeration, I was told that Orhian Johnson can throw the ball. For those that don't know, he played QB in high school. That's all I was allowed to be told. Don't take my words as fact, or that anything is going to happen. I'm just repeating what I hear.

I think that's it for now. I'll try and get more info as it comes in.

And I had In-N-Out, it's not my first time in LA, and it's solid. I still prefer Swenson's in Akron, but that's just me.

Oh, and Mike Brewster's facebook status: "Fuck Oregon its on".

I think we're ready and fired up, Go Bucks!

PS, I have a good amount of pictures from the media day that I can email people when I get back to Ohio. If you're interested in any, PM me.
