Here are crashes reported from emergency dispatchers, our news crews and NewsCenter7 viewers:
2:30 p.m.
  • All lanes of Interstate 675 southbound near Wilmington Pike reopened from an earlier crash cleanup a short time ago, but there has now been another crash reported in the same area.
  • In Vandalia, a car versus semi crash has been reported on the ramp from the Dayton International Airport Access Road to U.S. 40. That ramp is being shut down.
2:10 p.m.
  • Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly said since 9:52 a.m. his deputies have handled 36 crashes and are currently working on five active crash scenes. He confirmed that I-70 westbound is closed between the 49 and 54 mile markers.
  • Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson said deputies there have handled 12 crashes since 7:45 a.m. this morning and at one point were on seven scenes at once. This has meant that some people with minor issues have had to wait a while. They've had mostly issues on county roads, not on the interstate.
2 p.m.
  • There is a reported crash at the bottom of the ramp from I-70 eastbound to I-75 southbound in Vandalia.
  • We are hearing reports of multiple crashes and slide-offs in I-70 westbound in Clark County. Emergency responders say the interstate is essentially shut down near the 52 mile marker.
1:40 p.m.
  • We are hearing reports that a portion of Interstate 70 westbound is closed in Clark County causing major delays. One of our crew members driving westbound from Madison County into Clark County said traffic was stalled but just opened up and began moving again at 1:40 p.m. Twitter user Michael Manley sent a photo of two semis which collided just past Ohio 72. He said the backup is about 3 1/2 to 4 miles long.
12:15 p.m.
  • Clark County dispatchers say they have more crashes than they can respond to, including several along Interstate 70.
  • A two-vehicle crash reported on North Detroit Street in Xenia.
  • U.S. 35 westbound in Greene County, a single-vehicle crash in the westbound lanes just east of the Home Avenue exit.
  • 920 N. Main St. in Englewood, a vehicle struck something in front of a restaurant and the driver was possibly passed out.
11:25 a.m.
  • Car into a structure at Nordale and Revere in Dayton. Minor injuries were reported and police are calling for a building inspector to look at the damage.
  • Clark County, U.S. 68 and Stoneridge. A reported crash possibly invovling four vehicles. Emergency radio traffic indicates someone may be trapped in one of the vehicles.
11 a.m.
  • Southbound Interstate 675 is closed at Wilmington Pike for a multiple-vehicle crash.
  • Tipp City area, southbound I-75, Three vehicle crash with one into a wall. No injuries reported.
  • West National Road, in front of Rockway Schools, a two vehicle crash reported with injuries.
10:30 a.m.
  • Viewer reports multiple crashes along north and southbound Interstate 75 near Middletown
  • Jamie Simpson reports road conditions in Centerville/Sugarcreek Township area have deteriorated. "In a word, awful," he said. "Nobody can keep control of their car at all. Snow is heavy, we got about an inch or so."
  • Butler Township, northbound I-75 just north of I-70, a red pickup versus a commercial vehicle.
  • Miami Township, report of a crash with injuries at South Union and Lower Miamisburg.
  • Serious injury crash reported on South Techumseh Road in Clark County. A car versus a commercial vehicle.

Coming home from lunch yesterday there were three accidents on a ~2 mile stretch of road I use to get home. Roads were definitely slick, but were easily manageable if you weren't driving like an asshole.

We went from clear roads to absolute shit in minutes. The batch of snow that went through was laying down some heavy thick snow.

Pretty nice snow fall for a bit. Its let up now though unfortunately.

Probably a combination of both. During the bad storm we had a couple weeks ago, I was behind a guy who spun out and went off the side of the road. He was actually driving very carefully, but when he tried to switch lanes he just lost control. He was not driving like an asshole or anything, so I felt bad.

Any idea what kind of car he was driving? Just curious.

I have spun out in snow one time. It was in Kansas City during a blizzard on either Dec 23 or 24th a couple years ago. I was driving very cautious probably only 15mph on the freeway along with everyone else. The car about a 1/4 of a mile ahead of me hit a spot and fish tailed so I knew the area was slick. I hit the same area and did about a 540 across the freeway. Luckily everyone was giving enough space and my car slid to a stop about 2 inches from a small sign on the side of the freeway. I was also somehow able to drive out of the side of the road and turn around and still made my flight. I was really lucky.. I'm glad I no longer drive my Scion.

I wasn't driving (carpool partner was) but for an 8 mile stretch this morning about 7:00 am we could not go beyond 15 mph on rt 73 in Adams Co. It went from clear roads and no precipitation to 2-3 inches of snow and no sight of a road. We were in FRONT of a school bus and it would stop to get a kid and catch up with us lol. Saw 3 different cars (not a busy route) off the road in that 8 mile stretch. Had that been in a high traffic area....no fucking way

Some idiot managed to throw his car into the Scioto river this morning in Columbus.
I'm not even sure how thats possible ... like if i wanted to drive my car into the river theres like a ~10% chance i could actually do it due to the rails/trees/terrain.
Roads were about 10% bad ... I don't get it.

People are terrible! A lot of it is many do not like to drive with little control and panic or over-correct when they slip. One of my friends from Alabama was like terrified the other day when I was driving him because of the slick roads, pretty funny shit he shut the music off and was fully worried. It's a confidence thing

commute from fairlawn to downtown cleveland everyday is the biggest pain in my ass. dont even get me started. I could get into multiple wrecks daily if I weren't driving defensively. Ran over some bumper or some shit last night from this ghetto old van infront of me. I couldnt even tell what it was.

Two times I've wrecked in the snow. Once was during college because I was going way too fast. Cruising along a wooded stretch of the road when as I got to the open area and the wind pushed me right into the ditch. No car damage.

Other time was once again caused by going too fast. On 75 South heading to cinci for the company Xmas party. Had a 4x4 Pathfinder p.up at the time but was only in 2wd. Lost it and was heading straight for the inside barrier when I almost saved it but the rear left tail light cracked when it scraped the cement barrier. Only minor cosmetic damage and was easily repaired.

I've never been in a car accident because I'm responsible.

Hope this helps.

I totaled my first car when I was 16. That was my fault. Besides that I was hit once in downtown Cleveland by some drunk right after Lebron came back to the Q for the first time and blew the Cavs out by like 40.
