You say the guns are for safety yet you decided to leave your wife alone. You gave some lame excuse that you knew "for sure" nobody else was outside....if that means I have a sick mind so be it.

OK lets call this case involuntary manslaughter if it makes a difference. Either way I bet the ex-cop regrets his frustration getting the best of him. Only reason he shot someone was out of anger because his former cop w/ a gun "respect my authority" ego kicked in.
These types of nut-jobs shooting and sometimes killing people out of anger are showing up more and more because of CCW.
Yeah I guess murder might not be the appropriate charge since he likely didn't set out to kill someone. Sort of like those cops who beat that homeless guy to death, they weren't intending to kill him, but they did. They got angry at him and wanted to hurt him, it just happened to kill him. That should be manslaughter. Though those cops got off and I doubt this guy will.

Texting kills more than CCW nut jobs, teen kills family of four text indicated as cause, three teen dead driver texting, high school cheerleader and sister injured and retired police officer killed investigation indicated teen was texting the cause. We seen the local articles and read the stories the reality is cell users killed people
those deadly cell phone in the hands of untrained nut jobs....

Agreed. How any blame is getting put in the victim in the case is mind boggling. I expect the shooter to use this defense, but any sane person see that as a desperate attempt to save himself.

Here in Zanesville, we've got something similar going on right now.

Young Guy was fighting with his gf in a BK, a old guy stepped in and asked him to cut it out, Young guy punches him in the face, and then Shoots him in the forehead before fleeing the scene.

Multiple witnesses, including the young mans ex-gf, claim Old guy did nothing wrong, but the shooter is claiming self defense.
