Full sized I'd go with a Ford. Half ton or larger.
Mid sized Toyota's last forever. If gas mileage is not a concern get a Nissan Titan.
If I was going to get a small pick up I'd get a few years older Chevy with the 4.3L v6 just because it's one of the best engines they ever made.

My dad has always had a Toyota truck for our cabinet business. His T100 have over 300,000 and is still driving around town(sold it to kid who worked here one summer). His '02 Tundra currently has 440,000 miles on it and hes currently on his way back from jobsites in New Jersey in it. No major problems on either of them, just has changed some belts and the oil on it.

Ford hasn't released that or the power info yet. I've read where 'experts' say it should get about 30 mpg on the highway.
