Does the execution happen immediately? We've never had the defendants champion die.

Yeah, that did not go as I expected. I was SOOOOO annoyed thinking we were going to have to wait another week to see that fight (hey, I didn't read the episode title).

Seems a stretch to think RR doesn't kill Tyrion, but I still refuse to believe it will happen. Poor Tyrion, he got the equivalent of a 1-out bad beat on the river.

On the nudity front, I'm going to say slave girl has the best body we've seen yet.

But knowing when the execution is scheduled isn't really material to what actually happens, just as knowing who was fighting didn't tell us anything about the outcome.

There are, what, 2 episodes left? I'll be irritated if the "execution" (however that plays out) is put off until next season. But GoT has been pretty good about not ending seasons with unsatisfying cliff hangers.

I wouldn't be. While surprising at first it now seems like any main character will eventually be killed. It's not so much of a shock anymore as it is me trying to guess when. Sort of how even though I hadn't read or heard any spoilers I still knew Oberyn was going to die.

I fucking knew he was going to lose after he was just walking around his body saying that shit. Hopefully Tirion finds a way to survive.

I really have no idea. It really feels like his story arc is, or could be, done. With Joffrey dead and Sansa out of the picture, there's A LOT of other stories that I'd expect to demand more attention in the next 2 seasons. I could see Tyrion's death further evolving Jamie where he picks up the mantle, so to speak.

If he's dead in the books, I don't see the show deviating to keep him around. But if he lives in the books, then only if he plays an important role in some capacity would I see GoT keeping him alive - if he's just a character who fades into the background a bit then he's toast.

One last glorious speech and he can die with dignity. Unlike other characters that shocked us because they had potential or unfinished business, I just don't know where Tyrion goes from here. An escape wouldn't make sense, because he'd be mostly irrelevant with no resources, influence or anywhere to go. And I don't see how they can acquit or prove his innocence in a way that works.

Keep in mind, while Tyrian is a major character in the books, he is even moreso on TV because he is kinda the face of the show (winning the awards, etc). So, him dying wouldnt be any more of a shock than Ned Stark,Rob Stark, etc for GRRM while writing, imo.

I obviously havent read the books, but I would assume HBO played up his storyline with more/extended scenes because of how awesome Peter Dinklage is.

In otherwords, I definitely see him dying. He and Ned Stark are my 2 pics for the last 2 episodes.

Also, there have been a LOT of amazing bodies. But slave girl is up there.

I want to rail Dany, but she isnt the best on the show, even if I want to do dirty things to her more than others. Slave girl > Dany.
