No, the point was we would assume Oberyn fights on behalf of the Kingdom so he gets to kill a Lannister (double bonus if Jamie would be Tyrion's champion). And we might assume Bronn or perhaps Jamie fights on behalf of Tyrion (we can probably guess it wouldn't or couldn't be Jamie, but ruling out Bronn is again a pretty obscure detail that the tv show doesn't spell out sufficiently).derek bomar;1615911 wrote:Assuming you know it's Oby because of last episode, then knowing Oby fucking hates the mountain and wants to kill him for raping and murdering his sister should fill out the 2nd half.
As far as I can tell, the only hint given that The Mountain is Tywin's champion is a single line from Oberyn that he's "Tywin's enforcer", which doesn't come close to being sufficient knowledge for a guess, not to mention guessing someone we've seen [maybe] once.
More logically we could guess Tywin's champion is any decent sword in the King's Guard, especially since who's going to fight for Tyrion after that speech? Tywin could just pay Bronn off not to fight. There would be no need to dispatch The Mountain to kill a dwarf.
