Very unimpressed with Brees' game awareness.

2 blown second half timeouts. A delay of game. Not getting a play off before the 2-minute warning. Does he even realize where the clock is?

Not only was not going out of bounds stupid, but that wasn't even close to being a lateral. He threw it a good 5 yards forward.

Didn't we see some of the worst looking passes today also in those conditions? They are bad conditions for overhand across the field laterals like they play they set up called for. It just slipped out like all those bad passes. I wonder if he had his "catching" gloves on or his "throwing" gloves on? That miracle play attempt called for them both! And there was no doubt a miracle play was needed, so kudo's on trying it rather than the conventional "hail mary"!
