I know dozens of Bengal fans and not a single one thought this team could win the AFC. San Diego yes but not much after that.

I thought they should beat San Diego at home, but anything outside of that would be really tough and all depend on Dalton. Had a feeling though with how it no doubt looked like the Bengals should win that they would lose.

The ones around me in Jackson and down at school much closer to Cincy......they were believing what I was saying.

I scratched my head at the sports media predicting Superbowls for the Bengals. To them, Dalton was apparently going to go from inconsistent and underachieving to being one of the best? A lot of the fans I know wanted to see him just get a playoff win before they thought about the Superbowl.

The poll on this thread clearly indicates that too. Don't be fooled by the other votes for the chargers. Raw dawg was the only one who picked the chargers to win pregame.

Maybe they figured if Flacco can go on a playoff run, then Dalton surely can.

I went to check on AB's stats in last year's playoffs and then realized who the hell Rahim Moore was. Lol

Agree 1,000,000,000% and Flacco should put all of Moore's kids through college because that bone-headed play probably added. $35 million to Flacco's contract.

As for his actual receiver......AB had 3 great games out of 4....his worst game in the 2nd round was still 6 rec 70 yards

Ah, so you know all the bengals fans in the world? Got it.

Great logic there.

That actually sounds about right considering the bengals fan base.

I figured that joke was too hacky for anyone to actually use it.

Guess not. Hacks.

Dalton apparently isn't going to accept much responsibility for this loss:
http://www.cbssports.com/general/writer/gregg-doyel/24399646/bengals-qb-andy-dalton-dodges-his-role-in-loss-better-than-he-does-ints

That's fine with me. If he accepted the blame in years past, it's not like his performance ever improved because of it. I did like this quote, though:
"I definitely have (improved at the QB position over the years)," Dalton said, finally unloading the first-person pronoun. "I've improved a lot and it shows with everything we've done this year."
He's right. This year he actually threw a touchdown with his multiple interceptions.

Not hacks Ted...just bitter sore loser Cleveburgh assholes who just can't accept the fact that no matter how shitty the Bengals were today, they were at least IN the playoffs and 1000x better than their dysfunctional Clowns ever hope to be.

Yeahhh, except we went 1-1 on the year against the bungals. Not too mention, I'd rather be out of the playoffs than getting blown out at home after predicting super bowl champs LOL

So according to some of you...

The Bengals need a new coach? The Bengals need a different QB? They are out of the playoffs?

They sound like they are the Browns, they just don't have as many draft picks.:RpS_blink:

The Browns have won a playoff game more recently than the Bengals

Guys guys guys. Each team is frustrating and disappointing in their own, unique ways. We don't need to argue about it. They both suck.

As much as i think the Bengals won't ever be a serious contender with Dalton at qb, I have my doubts that they get rid of him now. One more year at least.
