3-5" seems more likely to me.Classyposter58;1552453 wrote:It probably won't, sorry but too much snow. Overall expect snows of 4-8" with from just north of Columbus to the southern border getting 4" and lower as you go south. Highest amounts possible in NW Ohio, around Findlay and Lima I think

Where are you flying out of? I've seen anywhere from less than an inch up to 3" of snowfall for our area.Fab4Runner;1552443 wrote:As long as my flight to Tampa leaves on time on Saturday...I don't really care what happens.

No it is the sweetest wine out there. At least in my wine experience. I have not had a dry Riesling. All the wineries I have been too, Riesling was the sweet stuff.Classyposter58;1551677 wrote:Isn't Riesling the most dry white wine out there?

There are dry Rieslings, and I prefer them over the sweet ones. But you are right, the majority of Rieslings, the common ones especially, are sweet. Isn't Chardonnay dry?Zombaypirate;1552662 wrote:No it is the sweetest wine out there. At least in my wine experience. I have not had a dry Riesling. I think it's going to end up a light snow for many hours instead of getting dumped on hard for a couple minutes.

Yeah storm intensified. I'll take it.
Also, talk of a storm right before Christmas to keep an eye on.

Warning doesn't have to have wind. It needs ONE of the following criteria...bigorangebuck22;1553170 wrote:We got a "winter storm warning" for this? There is hardly any wind at all.
- Blizzard…
Sustained winds or frequent gusts > 35 mph AND considerable falling and/or blowing snow frequently reducing visibility < ¼ for > 3 hours (Blizzard conditions need to be the predominant condition over a 3 hour period) - Heavy Snow…
6 inches averaged over a forecast zone in a 12 hour period
9 inches averaged over a forecast zone in a 24 hour period - Ice Storm…
½ inch or greater accretion of freezing rain in any zone - Wind Chill…
Wind chill index less than -30°F for at least 3 hours with a sustained wind of at least 5 mph. - Winter Storm…
Winter weather event having more than one predominant hazard {ie. heavy snow and blowing snow (below blizzard conditions), snow and ice, snow and sleet, sleet and ice, or snow, sleet and ice} meeting or exceeding warning criteria for at least one of the precipitation elements.

As recently as last night, they were predicting 2-4" for most of the area. We have well under 1" here.LJ;1553276 wrote:What meteorologist are you listening to because all the local ones here called for rain this afternoon
