Even the cynic in me doesn't want to believe the comment about the officials, but I think our A game will be enough.

Yep, MSU brings in the money. The powers that be are thinking money and don't want OSU as their reps.

The new playoff system changes things. Ohio State can beat MSU and run the table and will NOT be selected thanks to the VT loss.

Michigan State is the B1G's only chance of being selected this year. Or are those scarlet colored glasses blinding you to reality?

If Ohio state runs the table they are in the playoffs. Don't let the media and sec losers tell you differently.

Believer one again bringing the lulz as one of OSU's biggest "fans."

I'm not confident about tonights game, I think MSU should be the favorite as they appear to be the better team. But I would rather have MSU being the favorite and OSU getting to play the rare underdog nobody believes in us card than OSU going in as a slight favorite.

That's the only reason I have some hope OSU can win.

Believe me most people in the south are too retarded to even understand how polls work.

The people I'm mississippi switch teams every week. I'm sure they are all now HUGE Ole miss and miss state fans. They were either lsu or Bama fans when I was there 4 years ago. Southern miss was a better program when I lived there then either Ole miss or miss st.

Come on man, based on what?
The committee has thus far shown how bad that VT loss was.
OSU needs to win out AND have chaos.

I wouldn't call it chaos. A few upsets would do it. Still several knockouts of match ups of teams above them

Very unlikely though

Wins at Michigan state and neutral win vs a top big 10 team. And It's OSU. We're not Indiana.

If TCU or Baylor win out they have a better resume.
There is no way, even if OSU wins out they can jump into the top 4 without a lot of help.

Baylor was a 6.5 dog on the road to a top 15 team and is destroying them
Unless OSU can do that tonight, that trumps anything OSU can do all year.

Yeah but Baylor just stomped a team that deserves about a #28 ranking.

But Baylor still better resume but still games for each to play.

Mississippi State has to lose at least one probably two. Possible. Alabama MUST lose another game. Possible but not likely. Auburn needs to lose another game. Very possible. Kansas State needs to lose another game. Likely. TCU needs to lose another but not likely. Utah needs to beat Oregon tonight. Maybe.

And Arizona State is making a good case for a loftier ranking at the moment.

The point is Ohio State needs to beat MSU preferably convincingly, win out big, win the B1G championship, and then hope for a lot of help to get in.

Best case scenario is the Buckeyes do what they have to do but probably end up #5 or #6. Sucks but it's the truth.
