If #24 LSU beats #3 Ole Miss, how much does LSU climb? Top 10?

I was thinking the same thing. SEC is going to be my answer to all questions I don't know the answer to from here on out.ernest_t_bass;1666709 wrote:If #24 LSU beats #3 Ole Miss, how much does LSU climb? Top 10?

LSU will be #2 in the country if they beat Ole Miss because SEC. Ole Miss will drop to #4 since they only lost to the #2 team in the country.

Such nice play there by LSU. Run it all the way down there then play action pass for the TD.

LSU straight to 3, Auburn up to 4 if they win, Ole Miss to 5, because SECernest_t_bass;1666709 wrote:If #24 LSU beats #3 Ole Miss, how much does LSU climb? Top 10?

Did you guys know... Even if the Bucks win out, that VT loss might hurt them!?

Hate to say it but Connor Cook will burn down the OSU DBs like a cornfield fire. Dantonio is all about replacing "The Genius" as the B1Gs #1 coach.

Buckeyes have plenty of work to do. I hope they start to get it done.

Tomorrow is the defining day when the first Final Four rankings come out. IS OSU a long shot? Probably so. But teams above them will lose. It all comes down to the MSU game. If OSU goes in into MSU and beats a top 5 team, on the road, at nite...they will leap frog a number of teams. Add in as mentioned, that some of those teams will lose and fall below, and OSU could luck out, if they win out. And yes, right now going to MSU and winning doesn't look good. But its certainly not out of the question.

^^^I'd like to agree, but IMO they'll not only need to win, but do so convincingly.

I don't think we have a shot at the playoff and don't really think they're a top 4 team, and that's OK.

Each loss by Va Tech I think hurts the bucks.
If they can go into MSU and win......and win the B10 championship without a loss....I think they get into the top 4

The Buckeyes need to do this plus:thavoice;1667734 wrote:If they can go into MSU and win......and win the B10 championship without a loss....I think they get into the top 4
1. Hope a few key teams ahead of them lose. Some of that will occur naturally. Mississippi State will lose. Alabama needs one more loss. And Auburn needs to lose. All possible.
2.. They must win convincingly as in dominate and win by 14 or more points the balance of the season including Michigan State and the B1G championship. Close, nail biters in OT won't do it.

Agreed. They have to cover and crush every game. The Penn St game cannot happen against Minnesota (their loss did not help), Indiana, or Mich.believer;1667789 wrote:The Buckeyes need to do this plus:

I would also say they need Oregon and Notre Dame to lose again as well.
And, they have to play Nebraska in the Big Ten title game.

Good Lord, why in the hell is the OSU/Illinois game this weekend on at 8:00 on ABC? This is a noon game on BTN at best!

The University should have told him he could have more night games when he earned them.

I agree. That 30-3 record at OSU is a disgrace.IggyPride00;1667803 wrote:We Buckeye fans want more effort out of him, doesn't mean we get it.
