Mocking jay, part 2
0/10 for the sole reason that the final battle ended without being shown. I'm sure it did that in the books, so I blame the author. Absolutely horrible to go through that entire movie and then have the main portion just happen while the audience is with Katniss unconscious.
Rest st of the movie, 7/10

Unfortunately the book did the same, which is why I have said all along that the 3rd book was by far the worst of the 3. If they were going to split a book into 2 movies, it should have been the 2nd book. The 2nd book from the politics to the actual Hunger Games in that one (mind boggling how well that arena was thought up, but completely ignored in the movie), would have been a MUCH better book to split up.Laley23;1772013 wrote:Mocking jay, part 2

They are doing the same crap to Divergent. The 3rd book was absolutely unreadable. I honestly only finished it because I NEVER stop a book once I start it.
They are turning that into 2 movies as well...
And now I just realized I read both Hunger Games trilogy and Divergent trilogy and lose my man card...
I like sci-fi books too...oh wait, I am still digging a hole...Jack Reacher! I like Jack Reacher novels, can I get some points back? lol
Seriously though, I 100% agree with you, but the book did the same thing with regards to the final battle in Mockingjay.

The Big Short. 7/10
I knew going in it was more of a documentary style film, but it was still a bit weird.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Definitely agree. I'm about 5 episodes in and I can't believe this is a real story and not some crazy Law and Order type of thing. It's infuriating to me to watch this so far, but it's so good.hangonsloopy;1772249 wrote:Making a Murderer was awesome. Definitely a crazy story.

I'm 4 eps in and can't stop thinking about it.
Fucking crazy how this all went down and no one said or did anything to help Avery and the cousin.

I'm also still pissed. I couldn't stand the prosecutor and his girl voice.

If you haven't finished it, don't read any more of this post.
The prosecution basically never ever proved anything. It was all theory. Also the defense didn't take advantage of some things.
I really felt for the cousin. He was a very uneducated kid who literally was pressed into saying things just to tell them what they wanted to hear.
I feel like I could write a novel on this, but I'll stop since people haven't finished it
