I can see that for a 6 y/o. My 3 boys liked it but they are a little older, 12, 10, and 7.

For a "kids movie" it is really good for adults and well thought out.

Bad Grandpa 7/10

Laughed my butt off at some parts, others were OK. If I had not seen as much as I did in the previews, it would have been better. I mean you can only do so many skits like that in one movie. At least this one had somewhat of a plot, and the little kids timing was great.

Agree with both reviews...and the commentary.

Mothman Prophecies was very creepy, and having crossed the new bridge hundreds of times the legend still lives on. Silly legend but the film was pretty cool.

Last Samurai was Cruise's Oscar bid before he jumped the couch. Very well done film, no expense spared but it was a bit overlong and to GBlock's point it was another example of "white man" going in to rescue others even though he's had no expertise in the discipline. But that is a political point.

Watching Thor 2 tonight assuming my wife's flight lands, no spoilers please, will rate it later.

Another thumbs up for Mothman Prophecies. On paper, I would have dismissed it as a film. But it works and works well. Very moody and well acted.

The MST3K version of First Spaceship on Venus. Final YouTube-available episode of Season 2, as the ones of Toho movies (ie: Godzilla, Gamara) are way too protected to last online.

Glad the season's over. The riffing was solid, but too many of the movies in it were more along the lines of slow-paced and boring than actually bad in a way that is funny. This one was no exception. It was more an anti-atomic message than a movie. The astronauts discovered that a message from Venus was actually a declaration of war, but when they got there, they realized the Venusians had actually taken themselves out with their atomic super-weapon. Blah. 1/10 with about 4 points added due to some good riffing.

Nebraska. Movie was very solid 7.5/10

The dad/mom were hilarious. Best scene is when the mom pwns the entire family when they come asking for money.

The Lego Movie was actually really good. We took the whole family last Friday, theater was at capacity and there were lots of laughs for a children's movie. Best children's movie I've seen in a long time.

The Descendants...8/10. Shailene Woodley isn't a household name, but she will be soon. Very good in this and The Spectacular Now, will probably really take off when Divergent comes out.

Watched "The Haunted Airman" from Netflix.

I hate movies who try so hard to be artsy that they fail in everything else that's imperative in a good movie, particularly horror. Still bitter about this wasted time of my life.

Watched the first Season 3 MST3K episode last night. It was a hilariously low-budget barbarian movie called Cave Dwellers. This was pure awesomeness. 10/10.

I mean, sure I had a pleasant buzz on, but this might have been the best time I've had watching a horrible movie ever.

What a waste of 90 minutes....I saw Forrest Gump long after it was out on video, and was a little disappointed after all the hype. Yet that was 10x better than "Gravity". Holy shit what an incredibly overrated movie. 40 minutes into it I started thinking how badly it sucked.

Save your money and watch Apollo 13 again. Oddly enough, I am not a Sandra Bullock fan at all....and, yet, this probably was her best work. Although "Speed" was like 100x better.

3/10. I have no idea why people think this is good. It's a shit remake of Apollo 13, without the great performance from Tom Hanks.

The main problem with Gravity is that it completely lacked suspense even though it was episode after episode of Bullock supposedly being in "danger." The camerawork was top notch though - it is visually impressive.
