Saw BvS last night at the Cobb Cinebistro, which was pretty damn cool in it's own right.
I'd say that it's nowhere near as bad as the critics are saying...but I do see where your average reviewer would have problems with it. There were some plot holes, and they did cram a bunch of superfluous stuff in there.
Up until last night, I couldn't imagine anyone holding a candle to Bale's portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman, let alone freaking Ben Affleck. That said, Affleck is now the standard. He simply killed it. Gal Gadot was no slouch either...very much looking forward to some more
Wonder Woman.
I was looking forward to Jesse Eisenberg's take on Lex Luthor, but it was a letdown. Yes, Luthor is a criminal mastermind and probably insane, but not "borderline incoherent foaming-at-the-mouth" insane.
It was worth the money, but it's pretty apparent that DC has an uphill battle on their hands to play at the same level as Marvel.
