I'm sure the drones will have 360 degree cameras that send a live feed back to a central location. How do police do a lot of things? Investigation. People thinking they're smarter than law enforcement is part of the reason we have the largest prison population in the world.

I'm not saying it'll never happen, but it'll rarely happen. And it'll be done by people who are already criminals. If your friends legally own guns, then they aren't criminals--you really think they're going to start by trying to shoot down an Amazon drone for no real reason, or are they just blowing smoke? It's funny to say. It's entirely different thing to actually do.

Amazon is the reason all the malls are slow this Xmas shopping season. UPS is getting bombarded right now. They don't have enough trucks.

If UPS doesn't have enough trucks I wonder how many drones it'll take...

Another thought on the drones- How well do they handle ice/snow storms or even heavy wind/rain?

If storks can deliver 10lb. babies in rain and heavy wind, I would think drones can deliver 5lb. packages.

That's stupid. Anyone with half a brain knows babies come from cabbage patches.

Considering you have half a brain, this sounds correct.

Haha yes the hub is full of U-Haul and Penske trucks. It is crazy honestly, probably the busiest peak season I have ever seen, but they are working so many people so many hours it isn't even that bad in Toledo anyways

We set our hubs record on Cyber-Monday and then broke it again Tuesday. This morning we broke it again with another 25% gain.
Pretty much double the pieces than a normal (non-peak) day.

All the old-timers who are also seasonal drivers are loving it.....making $40+ a hour OT, 12+ hours a day.

Safe to say the recession is over lol. It amazes me how much busier it is now compared to 2009
