No team that has won a NC in the past 10 years should ever lose to an FCS

Too scared to play Georgia Southern; Ohio State's fault for not scheduling SEC teams.

Michigan and Appalachian?

Or does that not count since it was only half a title?

What makes this loss even worse, is that fact that G. Southern didn't complete one freaking pass the entire game!! That is unreal! If Florida wants to use injuries as an excuse...I just read where G. Southern has lost 19 players to injury since practice started! OUCH!

Yeah, they are a triple option team. Jeff Monken the head coach is a disciple of Paul Johnson.

I'm guessing...

Mich/App State - 2007.
Michigan's last title, shared, 1997.

A NC team lost to an FCS team within 10 years of their last title or something.

I still don't get what he is saying. If you are an FBS team and have won a national title within the past 10 years, there is absolutely no reason you should ever lose to an FCS team. No matter what the loss is absolutely terrible. I think the UF loss is just as bad as the UM loss was. Obviously the UM game was meant to be included in my statement. I just don't understand the question.

I just wanted to bring up UM losing to Appalachian as it's Michigan week and the fact it was a "half" title. Nothing more than that really.

They still ran the triple O like beasts, UF couldn't touch em and they had some serious speed. Those long runs were by guys with breakaway speed. You gotta think though, athletically the difference is not as massive between D-1A and D1AA, I mean I look at a now NFL return man and DB from around NW Ohio and he was burned a few times in high school. That's playing D4-D5 schools too

If Georgia Southern is faster than Team SEC, Georgia Southern must be composed of the fastest individuals in world history all collected together thanks to time travel and major cosmetic surgery, so no one recognizes them as being historical athletic figures.
