Needless to say, he stopped that habit.

I don't like it but the money is good.SportsAndLady;1536459 wrote:How you like that industry? I interviewed for a research position in a management/financial consulting firm a few weeks back. Turned it down; money wasn't where I wanted it to be, but sounded kinda cool.

I do all sorts of financial consulting. Right now I work with a government client but prefer to work with private sector clients because they are actually competent and show up to work.O-Trap;1536695 wrote:In what field do you consult?

Well, it seems that the government sector needs more help with this sort of thing, so perhaps you're where you are most needed.sleeper;1536705 wrote:I do all sorts of financial consulting. I keep it pretty reg boss/employee status. We talk about what we did over the weekend. He knows I'm a big OU fan so he asks me about OU sports frequently even though he is a big OSU grad/fan. I'm fairly younger than him to so that has an effect too.

I told my boss it was bush league. I went in there and told myself if he does anything BUT immediately see how shitty that was, and apologize...that I would go to his boss, who I have a very good relationship with.
I would never, ever go to someone else's boss like a "tattle-tale" but this really pissed me off and I was prepared to do it.
Luckily, he apologized and saw my POV. The one thing he said that I didn't like was "I think you and I are just getting used to each other and how to work with each other" I was like uhh no dude, this has nothing to do with that lol
