Another good win for the bulldogs over northwestern. Bulldogs are looking very balanced and well coached. Head to fairless tonight.(although going to miss that one due to a little fball game in Indy)

Bulldogs continue to show great balance. All 3 guards shooting the rock well and solid play from the bigs. Another tough road match at Chippewa on Friday and at Akron kenmore sat.

Yes, no doubt. The chipps have some talent and some shooters not to mention some very solid on ball defense. Bulldogs were a little sloppy friday, but coach holt has to be happy when you play a tough team at their place, not play your best and still find a way to win.

While I think Dalton is probably more talented, the top 6 in the wcal are all at the very least dangerous. As it's in creston, the cats could definitely pull the upset.

Norwayne 49- Dalton 38. The final is a little misleading as it was tied at the half and the Cats were up about 4 most of the second half until late.

Norwayne did have some easier games before tonight to start the season, but I think Buckeye and Smithville are good teams. No shame in those games being close.

Was a good night for Orrville. Riders win 62-49. Impressed with the Stoudmire kid from Norwayne but he was about it as far as scorers go. They have some size and play physical and that will win them plenty of games, but an athletic team that can shoot will give them trouble.

Dalton guts out a win over a solid tusky valley team. Bulldogs very sloppy again for the first three quarters (this has been a trend the last few games). They played a good 4th and ot to pick up the win.

Prentiss has been the best scorer for Norwayne, but he obviously had an off-night shooting. Stoudmire got off to a slow start this year and is starting to come around offensively. They got plenty of good looks and just missed way too many. They had been defending the three point line well, but the Riders solved that. Davis is actually a good mid-range shooter and can make threes, but misses too often down low. It was probably a good game for Norwayne to lose as it doesn't cost them in the conference. Maybe Norwayne will get another shot at Orrville at the districts.

Didn't get to the Dalton smithville game last night due to the buckeyes, but did see the dawgs pulled a win. Stil not playing great ball right now, but any conference road win is a good win. A very game waynedale team comes to Dalton tonight.

Went and seen my Bobcats for the first time this year. Very good basketball team!! It was nice to see 3 guys in double figures. The one thing that i didnt like was a 7 man rotation that may come back and hurt them toward the end of the season and tourny. And from what i was told from some Norwayne parents(parents of starters) it is usually a 6 man rotation and starters play well into the fourth even with big lead. That may hurt later. Other then that a very strong team if they stay healthy could make a nice run. Didnt start out too well and got dowwn by 9 or 10 but made a nice run in the second half. keep it up Bobcats!!!

Dalton has a tough weekend on tap with Chippewa on Friday, a talented team that had the bulldogs scrambling in the first go round with the dawgs eking out a win. Central chr comes over on Saturday. The bulldogs are more talented, but central is a dangerous team, much better than they have been and Dalton cannot overlook them.

Excited for the Dalton Norwayne game tonight in Dalton. Bulldogs need to win this to keep league hopes alive (Norwayne ain't losing two other games). Dawgs have won 3 of the last 4 titles. It will be a tall order. Dalton has been very balanced scoring with three guards that can shoot and a good inside game. They also play well defensively as a team. Their Achilles heel all season has been the half court trap, they have 3 shooting guards and no true point. Norwayne made them pay the first time and Chippewa pushed them to the brink twice doing it. Other teams have tried, but were not as quick and athletic out front as those two teams. Turnovers will be the key IMO. If Dalton can stay in the 12 to 15 range, I like their chances. The cats are going to get some. If it moves up towards that 20 mark, Norwayne will win. No matter what, it should be fun and the atmosphere should be excellent.

This should be a great game tonight in Dalton. Not only is there a league title on the line, but probably a good chance at earning a #1 seed in next Sunday's tournament draw as well. I agree that Dalton's major weakness is the lack of a ball handling guard. Fortunately for them, there aren't a lot of super quick teams in their league and district. Orrville would give them some real problems with their physicality though.

Wow what a game last night. Finally got another chance to watch the Bobcats, got there early enough to watch the second half of JV and then the Varsity. 2 very good teams that went head to head and a tale of two halves. Bulldogs played a very nice first half and Bobcats played a very nice second half. Will these 2 teams meet again in turny, not sure if Dalton is in same Div or not?? Both teams have quality players I think Norwayne just has more. And one qusetion for you Daltn fans, do you like your new coach? first half it just seemed that he had control of everything and then second half he did nothing but scream during timeouts, yell at refs(which I have to say both JV and Varsity Refs where God awful) I know that Coach West does the same thing and I know of a few Bobcat fans that dont care for him, but just wondered if this is the way Daltons coach always is. I think West had the Bobcats better prepared and focused on the second half mor then Dalton. I hope these two teams meet again in turny.

Norwayne has alot leaving after this year, but from the looks of their JV team that have quality players coming back should be exciting times for Norwayne Basketball!!!!
