Not positive.....

But with 4:40 left in the 1st it was 36-0!

I think it was 50-0 at half.

They clearly pulled off the reigns anyway from the 1st qtr on

Bishop Hartley and Zane Trace

Very very weak region with a powerhouse as the #1 seed

Absolutely never.

Just 15 years ago there were 64 teams in Ohio that made the playoffs.....now with an extra 4 per region and another division.....there are 224 teams that make it.

1st round has a bunch of ridiculous mismatches.

Just saying it's very watered down compared to the old way. #8's and #7's win more often than most would guess but there are just so many insane scores.

Moreso at the smaller divisions.

Saturday night, just in Region 24.....
#8 seed Delphos St. John's defeated #1 seed Leipsic 33-18
#7 seed Hicksville defeated #2 seed McComb
#6 seed Arlington defeated #3 seed Fremont St. Joe
Other MAC teams...
#5 seed Coldwater defeated #4 seed Pemberville Eastwood 42-16

Teams from the MAC who enter the playoffs as a #8 seed are now7-2 all time with both losses coming to other MAC teams. Sometimes you get mismatches because the higher seeded teams aren't really the better teams by a long shot.

BTW, I saw where Thurlgood Marshal game was something like 72-50
Athens/Logan Elm was 74-55

About every state champ contender can wax their opponent in the 1st round....and when you get one of those contenders facing the lower teams in a weak region....it looks awful.

Kinda similar to how my team did in the regionals.....good enough to advance from a week region but not capable of competing at the next level.
