"Bad" isn't necessarily the word, it is more like inappropriate. I would never touch my wife like that in a public setting. And I certainly wouldn't post a photo of it with no expectation of privacy. Have you ever been dancing with your wife? Whether at party, wedding reception, concert, or out on a date? Chances are you have done something more inappropriate in public than this picture. I suppose you could only slow dance and be at arms length away at all times.
I'm not sure they expected privacy, I have no issue with the school firing them since they do have that right as an employer. I do think it is stupid to fire them for that but they do have the right.

We didn't pose for a picture and address it on the world wide web. Private matters should be that. I've definitely been amorous with my wife but it is kissing and hugging and a playful action.
