This is disgusting. How many more until enough is enough? There is absolutely a limit to what people will accept from their government, how close are we getting to hitting that limit?

In a perfect world you would be correct, I really hope New Mexico does the right thing.justincredible;1531105 wrote:I agree that he doesn't have to worry about paying. I'm not so sure I agree that these pricks won't be dealt with.
In Virginia it is a total cluster with the ABC arrest of a 20 year old UVA student that did nothing more than go to the grocery store and buy bottled water. Despite the media pressure and political movements by people in Albemarle County absolutely no one has been fired or disciplined. All we got is the same old "we're going to change our policies" cop-out.

Ugh, that's another situation that is completely fucked up. There is absolutely zero reason for that agency to even exist, and that was the case before they harassed a group of college women.Manhattan Buckeye;1531117 wrote:In a perfect world you would be correct, I really hope New Mexico does the right thing.

Maybe. It might not be the kind of confrontation that most people are ready for.justincredible;1531153 wrote:I think we are getting close to the tipping point. I HOPE we are getting close to the tipping point.

Doesn't say whether the agents are still employed...and its unclear to me why they aren't being prosecuted for assault.
Virginia needs to re-examine the entire agency. In Ohio (at least when I worked and lived there) the burden was on the retailer to not sell to underaged people, and any LE activity happened in the store. There weren't any "stings" like this.

Yup. Aren't you glad that there is a task force out there trying to stop underage drinking by suspiciously surrounding people in dark parking lots with guns?justincredible;1531947 wrote:

Clearly profiled...because, you know, 9 times out of 10 a black guy drinking something outside a liquor store is boozing it up.justincredible;1532200 wrote:Speaking of beverage police:
