So, from reading the story...

Dude appears to have cheeks clinched after routine traffic stop, so the pigs get a search warrant for a full body search. Because that's, like, totally logical.

The place that agrees to do this is outside of their jurisdiction and a good chunk of what happened was outside of the time limit imposed by the warrant.

And apparently a lot of people involved had total ass fetishes, as they apparently decided that simply finding nothing wasn't good enough, because they repeatedly probed and gave enemas to the dude well past any standards for anything other than anal torture.


This is the sort of thing where I'd be in favor of going well beyond the simple "should be fired and prosecuted" stuff. More like the sort of torture that went out of style in medieval times to make them serve as an example to others not to be using their perceived authority to pull any sort of bullshit like this.

Makes no sense at all why the police/state wouldn't be paying for the search, especially if it was negative.

That's like having the FBI illegally raid your home, find nothing, and then bill you for the manhours they wasted.

Judge who signed off on the warrant should be disbarred. Cops should all be charged with sex crimes and civil rights violations, and doctors should lose their licenses.

0% of that will happen.

This has gone viral...I'm pretty sure this guy will be ok. I'm not so certain that the authorities will be properly dealt with.

This just goes to the extent that police can say certain things or phrases for probable cause to start taking away our freedom.

It reminds me of all the "furtive movements" that are reported to give probable cause for stop and frisks and how much more often non-white individuals happen to move furtively.

It's kind of a joke how easy it is for cops to violate our rights if they utter some magic words.
