Good to hear, 'cause we're going to need him if we're going to make a run at the B1G title.

Watched a lot of Loving in high school and he reminds me a lot of Turner. He was just a special player during a time when Toledo basketball had some top players, if he could just bulk a bit he would be extremely good

Great article. That Vitto Brown is going to be a monster, super athletic big guy with a great shot. The quality of these teams was really unbelievable as well, we saw a level of play superior to every other major metro area in the state capping off with a terrific few districts in BG and Toledo. I still can't believe Rogers got that hot and almost won the state title. Basically flew to states after winning districts

I think I saw Kynard is starting for Cookman and Owens is playing quite a bit as well. Team sucks, but still lol.

EDIT: Just saw the article and I didnt read it. Im sure its in there though lol

Checked on them to see if they were playing and how they were doing. Pratt is getting some burn for his JC team in Florida as well. Put up 27 in his first game. The possibility of him playing D-1 after next year could be strong.

Not to completely derail this thread towards the HS kids from the Toledo area playing college basketball but who else is D-1?

Kynard, Owens, Loving, Brown, Hayes, Donnal(probably redshirting), Lauf and Garber at UT, Henderson and Orr at BG, Storm Stanley is no longer playing at St.Francis(PA) for medical reasons and CJ Gettys at UNC-Wilmington. Is that everybody?

I think so, unless some of the kids who went to Findlay transferred to D1.

We will be adding another Kynard to the list soon. Lincoln Kynards son, Gabe, is the best to come through the whole family. Lincoln was the best if the older generation, so it's no surprise his son will be the best. He will be a Sophomore for SJJ his year. As a 6th grader he was one of the top players at our open gyms at Maumee Valley. He transferred to SJJ for bball though so he is a semi unknown, but not for long.

Nate Allen will also play D1 if he can make it. I don't mean to be crass, but I have no idea about academics and shit on these kids. But talent wise, he will be D1. Bowsher has area others and Scott and Start have 1 or 2 as well if they keep their shot together.

Nice start for Q, hitting a couple threes. Defense lacking though.

Glad to see Ross's shot starting to drop. This team needed a shooter.

Bucks defense puts the flow back in the game, and Scott and Slam are having alley oop practice.

Craft is just ridiculously good defensively. It's just not fair.

The defense locked down the last 10 minutes of the half. Q playing with confidence, has 17 in the first half. This team is getting better and better.

Can't ask for a half any better than that. I don't think Maryland is a top 25 team or anything, but that was a butt kicking.

ESPN puff piece of Craft being maddeningly perfect.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10068006/ohio-state-aaron-craft-really-perfect

I will say the one thing I like is that h doesn't seem to shove his religious side into the spotlight. It seems personal and authentic.
