No one can buy a basket for either team . Really ugly game so far but thats usually what you get when you play Marquette.

Loving, by way of Toledo...and yes, our offense was horrendous.

OSU has the potential to blow the doors off this game if they can get some flow. 19-19 in the new style of play is terrible, nobody can hit an open 3

Both scored under 20 in the first half, which means both will score over 40 this half.

OSU D is playing well still and our guards are attacking. Much better this half

Nice to see Loving getting minutes this early. He obviously needs weight, which can be added. Hopefully he can add some quickness, otherwise Im not sure we will even be more than a spot up shooter. Just not quick enough right now to drive the ball around guys.

Wasn't pretty. But still an impressive win for OSU. Great confidence builder. And this was with Ross giving OSU absolutely nothing. Craft, Scott, Thompson and Smith defensively are pretty damn good. I was worried about OSU interior defense and rebounding. But Williams held his own and McDonald gave them some good minutes off the bench.

Didn't get to see much of this one, but holding someone to 19 and 16 points in each half is some damn good defense. Doesn't matter if Marquette missed open shots(not sure if that was the case), that's solid D.

This on their home court where they had the nations longest home win streak at 27. But it was a combination of poor shooting as well as very good OSU defense.

Especially on someone else's home floor. That's a really, really good win for OSU.

Wasnt it off-campus in DT Milwaukee? The pro arena??

Never mind. Didnt realize Marquette played there also. I hate non-campus arenas.

The Bradley Center is the only place Marquette plays basketball...

Didn't see your 2nd post Laley.

But yeah, they have "always" played at the Bradley Center.

Defense was great, and the offense got rolling in the second half. Glad they took care of business in this one since they only have a few big non conference games. Scott, Craft, and Thompson played very well and Loving gave some good minutes in a tough game. Nice for Ohio State to win such a tough early season game.

MTSU current has the longest winning streak in the nation at 30. Hopefully my Zips end that in the next 15.

Regardless, great win for the Buckeyes.
