Last nite, and at other times, yes. That is when Scott is playing well. Which he doesn't play well often IMO. There have been many times that the OSU offense is better when Russell is at the pt and Scott is on the bench. More times than not honestly. I have never really been a fan of Scott. But thought he would have a solid senior year with Craft gone. And he really hasn't. (although none of the seniors have). But yes, when Scott plays well, just as when Loving plays well (not lately!), it opens things up for Russell. No question.
But that has been the issue with this team all year. Having someone else besides Russell play consistantly. You never know who is going to show up besides Russell. Tate has been good and fairly consistant. But thats on the interior. Having someone else show up (as you pointed out, Loving is needed!) on the perimeter is what this team needs to have any kind of run in them.
From radio last nite, it sounds as though Lee is close to being ready. I believe he warmed up last nite.
