If Della Valle plays that way in the tourney this team could really do something

Maybe in the big 10 tourney. But the NCAA tourney is all about guard play, and Scott/Craft arent going to carry you all that far

That being said, that was a hell of a comeback

Defensively, as they did today, they certainly could. I wouldnt' count this team out. Their defense can keep them in games. That is where they got most of their offense in comeback as well, from defense. If they can play with that intensity, and create some points, they could surprise. Good to see others besides Ross step up. Its needed.

It will be much different IMO when they go up against teams with multiple weapons though, could be wrong. Their defense is good, but the complete and total lack of scoring they have outside Ross(who will have to score in the high teens/20's every game) will ultimately sink them. And as is the case often, in the tourney the refs dont let players get away with the tough style of big 10 defense. So Craft could find himself in foul trouble early and often if he continues to body guards

Don't disagree about the offense. But what people need to realize, is in NCAA, you are playing against a team that is not as familiar with you as conference teams/coaches. So the defense isn't going to be as good vs OSU as in the Big Ten. Craft in foul trouble....been hearing that for 4 yrs. Doesn't happen often. He is smart enough to stay out of it. Not a worry at all IMO.
No, I am not optimistic this team will go far. But a sweet 16 wouldn't shock me. All about matchups so predicting much at this point is not realistic until you see who is in their bracket.

Its not like the reason OSU struggles on offense though is because people know the scouting report and gameplan complex schemes to stop them. OSU simply has no scoring threats outside Q when hes hot. And Craft does manage to stay out of foul trouble, but with the amount of body and contact he creates its a miracle that he does lol

Again, don't disagree. But people talk like this team is bad. They have won 25 games. Are now in semis of Big Ten. Its not always pretty, but they seem to get it done. Craft gets away with contact because he is in great position defensively. When your not, fouls happen. He is a difference maker on defense. He shut down Petteway when Matta put Craft on him. That was HUGE factor in the comeback.

I've said all year that ADV deserves more PT, the kid can play a little bit, and really help this team. It hurts my head to think of Shannon Scott being our PG next year.

Also, on the Aaron Craft discussion, I think he should go back to his shot with the hitch in it, he was a better shooter then. He shot 38% and 36% from 3 the two years before he started messing with his shot.

Ohio State better not come out of the gate slow, or its going to be a long 40 minutes. We won't be able to catch them like we did with Nebraska.
