I already pointed that out to him.

I don't care if you want to call it chili or a sauce. It's disgusting shit either way.

And as I pointed it out to you White Castles weren't popular until they had an Ohio pedigree. The 50s & 60s were the hey day of the drive up burger joint and whiteys led the way.

Somehow I missed that?

Maybe White Castle's weren't as popular, but when they started in the early 1920s, the slider became popular. So...the slider should be credited to Kansas instead of Ohio. That's why ol' Cozy Inn is still popular in Salina, Kansas because it continues its slider tradition -- $1.08 per slider. Much like other little drive up burger joints or diners.

Doesn't make it an Ohio food. It makes it a Kansas food.

Slow news day I guess.

I'm struggling to see what's newsworthy about what some blog douche says about chili.

Slow news day indeed. The biggest story is that deadspin put vomit in your mouth deep dish pizza as the #1 food.

I'm a fan, but I could never eat it all the time, just every now and then. I like the coneys and 5ways.

My roomie is from Harrison. He had some Skyline cans shipped here.

We made Skyline dip last weekend for some locals. Minds were blown!!

I've never had Gold Star.

I read a few of the comments. Someone mentioned that Montgomery Inn is complete shit (it is) but the original author defended it as the best sauce in the Union.
If you think the chili is the worst regional food in the country, you've obviously never tried the ribs and sauce at Montgomery Inn. Now that's garbage!!
You are a liar. Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce is the best you will find north of the Mason-Dixon.

The article writer called someone a fuckhead in the few I read. That's a way to get people to take your moronic opinions seriously.

He's just projecting his fuckheadedness on to others.
