Maybe White Castle's weren't as popular, but when they started in the early 1920s, the slider became popular. So...the slider should be credited to Kansas instead of Ohio. That's why ol' Cozy Inn is still popular in Salina, Kansas because it continues its slider tradition -- $1.08 per slider.
