I finally did to take the chill out. I had finally changed my energery provider to save 35% so didnt feel too guilty in doing so before it was too cold out.

Forget the name.....went down to $.05991 per kw/hour from the old rate of .096. Had the DPL standard rate before.

Turned it on last Thursday. Glad I did...snowed on Friday.

I despise getting out of bed and being freezing. I also despise a freezing cold bathroom.

On a somewhat related note......how difficult is it to install one of the automatic thermostat's from the old dial ones?

Easy. Pretty much take the old one off, and put the new one on. Most only have 2 little wires.

Is the old one broke? Not being a smart ass just wondering why you want to change it.
If the automatic thermostat's save you money or something in the long run...
