7th rated player on my non-wild card list. If he gets his boards up, he's a very good pick.

I had Cotton at fifth. I fear my list is on its downward spiral.

There's a solid chance that Parker will have a Kyrie Irving-like impact as a freshman. Likely would have taken Jabari with my next selection. Nice pick.

Kid looked fantastic in the Blue-White game. There won't be very many players nationally with the ability to play as many positions on the floor as Jabari Parker. He can do it all. I just hope he is able to remain injury free.

Jabari was a better pick than Sulaimon, 12 picks later...IMO.

Not to rain on cc's parade, but I think you are right. Reports from insiders right now are that Andre Dawkins will be getting the nod at shooting guard, and that Sulaimon might play the sixth-man role as a sophomore that Jon Scheyer once played after Scheyer had started as a frosh. It's still early, though, so things could change. Sulaimon is prone to lulls and might just be in one right now.

Parker is easily a better pick. I dont think I wouldve taken Rasheed in the top 3 rounds (granted, I am picking 2nd in RD3).

Moral of the story is that if I want a Duke player on my team I better do it as soon as possible. CC just picked up what would be my two favorites. Was hoping Parker would fall to me, but I knew after not taking him in round two that would not happen.

Lol I knew CC was taking Parker. I honestly thought that was who he would take in the 1st. Once S&L makes his pick I'll be ready with mine.

Im really excited about 1 of my picks, but I dont know if I should take him in the 2nd round or 3rd round...

I dont think I can get both of these guys, but maybe.

Can we use the wildcard at any round?
I have a feeling I know who you are going to take. I think he will have a big year, but not big enough to make me spend my only wild card on him. I thought long and hard about it though.

Also made it somewhat obvious when you asked why we arent including his conference lol

There is one, particularly since I think his numbers will improve across the board.

His numbers wont be in the top 12 of "wild cards". But on the flip side, his numbers should be close to top 5 (top 10 for sure) for C.

No there isn't. I reached on my center, and the best center in the MAC is like the 7th best wildcard center available based on last season's stats.

There's no reason to waste your wildcard on a center, like I did, if you're only going for rebounds. That's why Williams was a good first three round pick, and your guy and Aird are not.

I just want to thank ccrunner609 for being in the league. I'd have fun no matter what, but the entertainment value is about 20% better now.

I agree that I wouldnt take a C as the WC, but he is going to average 29 a night based on last years stats (which should improve). Williams is at like 36. McDermott is at 33. It isnt a "laughable" pick imo. I havent done a TON of research, but I havent found 7 WC Cs more than that.

There's one WC center that hasn't been picked yet that, IMO, is the best of the bunch. Really wanted to take him as my WC, but decided against it in the end. He is a beast and pretty hidden where he plays.

Save your time on the research of that mystery center. I'm stupid and mis-thought that player's position.

As for the Draft, are the orders for the later rounds decided yet? I thought I remember seeing them, but think they've been deleted.

Lulz, its a snake draft. RD3 will be RD1 and RD4 will be RD2.

Also, check your PM...

Ah, must have glossed over that or just had no idea what that meant. Ha. Figured it was a dumb question, but got my answer.

Checked.
