Having a great game from Eric mika tonight when all of a sudden an isu player decides to jam his fingers in mikas eyeballs and now mika is out.

The isu player was ejected.

There was no chance that the Iowa State player was anybody other than DeAndre Kane.

Pissed at myself for picking the wrong freshman #1 overall. Both Parker and Randle are averaging 41 a game! While Wiggins is getting around 30. I know it's still very very early but Parker is legit and Randle just flat out dominates.

Hopefully Wiggins proves me wrong tonight.

I'm sure Wiggins will get up there at least he isn't completely shitting the bed. I agree with you Randle is just incredible for our game, in the end he will have better totals than Wiggins and Parker.

I was really surprised when rec passed on Parker both times haha couldn't believe he fell to cc in the 2nd.

On my team, Alan Williams(UC-Santa Barbara, my WC pick) has been out for both games this week with back spasms. To cover myself going forward, I have to pick up a Center using for next week (11/25-12/1) regardless if he still has a game or not this week, correct?

Yeah I think that is how it goes. You're screwed for this week. But next week if he doesn't play at all then you get the subs points. If he enters any game at all this week or next week then you get whatever points Williams has.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong the sub thing is the one thing I haven't really folllowed haha.

You're right. Post it in the roster thread, who you want as a replacement. If Williams doesn't play in week 3, you will get that replacements points.

I'm happy with my first two draft picks. With those picks, I think I got the best center in our game (or top two at least) and maybe the best Wild Card by season's end.

Center Alex Kirk is averaging 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks (42 PPG our game) and McCrea is averaging 21 points, 11 rebounds, 2 block and 2 steals (41 PPG our game).

In retrospect, though, I now know that most of the Wild Cards were still around late into the draft, so, as you allude to, I could easily have picked up Parker in round two and then grabbed McCrea in round three. Next year, I will do some things differently for sure.

I've been able to catch some of the game here and there. I saw him hit two threes, including one that was from NBA range, and then block fellow seven footer Cady LaLanne of UMass on three out of four possessions down the floor. He is a monster. I am glad I picked him because if not, I probably wouldn't have watched him play that much this year.

At seven feet with his skill set, I think he can be solid at the next level.

Yeah haha it was moreso when you pick McCrea that I was surprised. The Kirk one is obvious as great centers are a rare. I agree you definitely got one of the best ones.

Yep. That wasn't the best move on my part. I missed out on getting at least one of the top "major" players as a result. Rookie fantasy player mistake, I guess.

Think he was talking about fantasy points.

Dude got me 53.75 of them today. 32 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks. Kirk has 15 blocks in the last 3 games. He is as close to an animal as a human can be. Best part is he plays 40 minutes almost every game.

With the recent debate we have had about total fantasy points or PPG(fantasy), here is the number of games each fantasy team is expected to have. This is with the DRAFTED players(or changes made in circumstances such as one of Rec's players transferring before season started).

Other than UTEP which has 32 scheduled games including a game against a random school that might just be a mid-season exhibition, the most a team will play is 31 and the least is 27. The number beside each Fantasy team is the total out of 372 (all college teams playing 31 X number of players on fantasy team, so 31 X 12)....

S&L - 369 (3...Green Bay - 2, Iowa State - 1)
Mulva - 369 (3...Utah - 2, Lafayette -1)
CC - 369 (3...Loyola - 1, Michigan - 1, Stanford -1)
Rec -369 (3...Buffalo - 2, New Mexico -1)
AZU - 368 (4...VMI - 3, Michigan - 1)
Birddog - 368(4...Stanford 2 players -1 each, Indiana State -1, Oregon State - 1, Towson - 1...UTEP +1)
Pick6 -368 (4...Iowa State - 1, LSU - 1, Michigan -1, UMass -1)
Goon - 367 (5...Utah Valley -4, UAB -1)
Terry Tate - 366 (6...Charlotte - 2, GWash -1, Portland -1, UAB -1, Lafayette -1, UMass-1)
Laley - 365 (7...UCF -3, Creighton -1, GMason -1, Oregon -1, Utah St -1)
Sportswiz -365 (7...UCSB -3, LSU - 1, New Mexico - 1, Oregon - 1, Oregon St.-1)
Turtles -364 (8...LMU -2, SDSU - 2, LaSalle -1, San Francisco -1, UAB -1, Youngstown St -1)

The bold indicates this team has a few tournament games left that will give them +2 and is included in the total number, it won't necessarily show up on every schedule of their's. Akron, Boise St are in the same tournament but their +2 will give them 31. Find any mistakes let me know.

If it can be a wildcard guy Aaric Murray no question about it.

Non wildcard I don't know really haven't looked into much. There was a dude from Marshall who was putting up huge numbers but I think he got injured/suspended like 2-3 weeks ago.

Eljiah Pittman was on several of our lists based on previous discussions here. His off-the-field issues were a reason that I was sort of wary. He was arrested for assault, I believe, during the off-season.

Jon Sever of Fordham, a freshman, is averaging about 30 per game. He was on my radar, but I would never have picked an unproven freshman from the Atlantic 10. Instead, I picked an unproven one from the Mountain West.

Jordan Clarkson of Missouri is probably up there. 32 PPG thus far.

I'm sure there are some other low-majors who were completely missed, but that's expected. The scouting information and news about those guys isn't always there. I'd be hard-pressed to find an eligible conference guy better than Clarkson.
