Got ya', and you're spot on there!

To me, it'd be interesting if playing under Meyer would do anything to curtail Manziel's douche factor or if the two would even be able to co-exist.

At A&M, while Sumlin is a big-time up-and-comer in the coaching ranks, this is his first major job (not counting Houston -- C-USA, right? -- as major) where his career is tied to Manziel essentially for the short term. A situation where he pisses off Johnny could lead to his star dropping, so it's hard not to get the idea he's more or less along for the ride, letting Johnny do what Johnny does.

But Meyer, with his longer and very successful (national championship-level) career is essentially a made man in the coaching world. And at a school that's had recent issues with players taking benefits and getting the program sanctioned. Something tells me he'd be more likely to put his foot down on Johnny being Johnny, which makes things interesting, considering how Manziel essentially has the "just biding my time doing what I want in college before I can go pro" vibe.

Pure "not happening" hypothetical, obviously, but since people are talking about it, it's interesting.

I remember someone mentioning this as well but it wasn't lhslep. I think it was that ND fan who went to ND then went to OSU for law/grad school forget his name.
