Every year about this time when the spiders, bugs come out I take my sprayer, load it up with bug and spider killer solution and spray the outside of my house top to bottom, in the corner and under the siding also about 20 feet into the yard for (fleas and ticks).
This year the spider where crazy, so many and some pretty big… but they are dead now and the wife is happy…

I would suggest a shotgun of at least 16 guage.
