Must be serious if they suspend before the investigation is complete.

innocent until proven guilty is only for criminals

I will be interested to see what the details are of this situation. What exactly is mistreating a player with an injury?

The relationship was bad, but now one has to think he won't be coaching there next year.

This guy always seemed like a big-mouth jerk to me. Not surprised that this is coming to light...

I never cared much for Leach , seems very arrogant. This wouldn't do anything to change my opinion.

....and the player is the son of one Craig James, ESPN announcer. If this is true then Leach is a bigger moron than I thought. This isn't exactly the actions of player whose parents don't understand the intricacies of college football.

And Craig James is supposed to announce the Alamo Bowl. That could be interesting.

I liked Mike Leach at first, but I'm slowly starting to think he's a big doucher.

Leach might as well pack his bags. I see no way where this does not end with him getting the can unless it comes out the kid lied. The fact he is Craig James' son causes all kinds of problems/conflicts for the networks and the university. How can James objectively call a Texas Tech game?

ESPN said that the kid had a concussion and was stuck in a closet for a couple of hours. Bizarre.

James is not doing the game now.

Are there any coaches in the Big 12 that aren't full of themselves?

I guess I dont' know why you'd throw a kid in a closet....

This is a lose/lose for Leach.... if its true, who will ever hire him again? if its not, well, repuation is ruined anyways....

Initially I was like so what he stuck the kid in a dark room, but the article suggests he made the kid stand in a tightly confined space for 2-3 hours and also threatened to kick him off the team if he tried to leave the room. The standing was bad enough, but the threat of being kicked off the team, for leaving a closet? I can't even defend my boy here

I guess I can understand the standing in a confined space especially if yoiu have post concussion symptoms that will make you puke and crap would be pretty brutal.... and you can't threaten him with kicking him off the team.... if that's the truth then that's pretty fucked up

Sounds like TT is going to lose this deal from what is being said on ESPN. He did no harm to the player and it sounds like TT jumped the gun too early with a suspension.

Mike Leach need's to get a new lawyer asap. This guy on espn right now sounds like an idiot and is making Leach look worse imo. There's no need to slam the james family like he is doing.

From what was reported today it sounds like Leach is a bit better off than some originally thought...

But honestly, we all knew the guy was loony to begin with.

Does Leach remind anyone else of Bam Margera's uncle Don Vito?
