One of the greatest athletes of all time wants to come support his favorite University (one that he was going to attend if he wasn't allowed to go pro) in his home state. LeBron is not a thug, far from it actually. Quit bitching. This isn't the first time he has been on the sidelines for the Buckeyes.

You want to be the best team in CFB, use all the assets that are legally available to you. LeBron is the biggest icon in all of sports right now. And guess what, OSU has one of their biggest recruiting days going on right now.

Yep, you use all the assets you can. Or enjoy life as an 8-4 type team that isn't relevant on a national level except as a past icon. Heck, the way he's going on, you'd think Tiernan wants Ohio State to be another Notre Dame -- living off a creed that others don't follow and rarely considered a powerhouse because of that.

Hell, with all the talk you hear in pro sports about how Ohio teams aren't a hot destination for free agents compared to other places, you'd think people would at least be smart enough to applaud a university that's doing everything they can to show how a particular Ohio college team is THE BEST destination for elite young athletes. Especially since it's working.

Woody Hayes would have no more used a NGBA * thugger to motivate his team than he would wear maize and blue. There are plenty of pro athletes who actually graduated from OSU who these kids could actually respect and admire...not the son of a crack whore.

Leaving for Tailgate set-up, will catch up later. Just hope the stench left over from the POS's doesn't ruin the game but I gotta bad feeling that bitch Karma is going to make us pay for having a giant turd on the sideline which ABC will show a 100x.

Meyer doesn't "need" it either. Its called gaining an extra edge in recruiting. It has nothing to do with motivating the team, its a complete recruiting ploy seeing as how there will be over 50 bball and football recruits at the game. You bet your ass Woody would have done the same thing.
