Kind of felt bad for him there. There are certainly worse closers out there but he has done all this to himself by being just a total asshole in his years here.

He can't. Perez has been nothing but controversial during his time as an Indian and this latest adventure (during a big drive for the playoffs) should earn him an unconditional release. I'll say this about him though: He started up in the STL organization and they weren't happy when he was traded to Cleveland.
