Anyone use www.gazelle.com for trade-ins? Looking to trade in my iPhone 4s, and get the 5c, and basically get paid to get a new phone.

like_that... my wife will also have the 5c, so we'll be equal.

Thoughts?

They pay low...i would sell on ebay before I would use them. Put it this way, I had a Rezound and it paid 28 bucks on gazelle...I was able to get 65 for it on ebay.

Also, it is def a legit site, I used it back in the day to unload my tmobile phones when i was with them. It just doesn't pay well.

I would assume an iPhone holds their value a bit more than the phone you mentioned, but putting it on eBay isn't a bad idea.

I just checked offers the other day.

The offer right now is $190 for iPhone 4s on AT&T. Seems stupid not to take them up on it.

yeah, i was just talking in general. People pay way too much for shit on ebay, especially phones. I would just check what the going rate is on ebay...subtract 10 percent(for fees) and see where you're at.

Might get more money from them than anywhere else, but it comes in the form of an Apple giftcard. Just looked at a good condition 4S on AT&T and it'll fetch you $215.

Sold my Droid Bionic (first Verizon 4G Droid from Sept 2011) in May. Being that so many better Android phone's came out after that one I was pretty happy with a quick $65. They send you the packaging and everything. You just have to return it and within a few days the money will be in your PayPal account (option I used).

Ebay you have to pay a sellers fee. Craiglist is impossible unless you are subleasing a room. I am looking for a site like gazelle that will sliminate the hassle for you.

We buy "used" phones from Gazelle pretty often at my company. Sometimes they arrive with the previous users photos on them, since the previous owners are morons and don't wipe their phone before they sell it.
