I know none of you are going to believe me because I'm not LJ therefore I haven't been everywhere and done everything. However, I was at the Yard working as a Financial Consultant during the time of the shooting. I literally heard gun shots outside the office that I was bunkered down in. Scariest time of my life and glad to be out okay.

I'd love to comment on the thread in Serious Business but as we know I've committed a tragedy that puts this one in its place; I offended LJ and I repent daily.

I need it. I've been drinking heavily ever since I got him and have this ball of stress that I need to relieve. Not every day where you are faced against a crazed gunman.

Is it true that one of the shooters is a disgruntled Browns fan?

Sleeper I’m glad that you are OK and I hope that you learned something from this event and take the experience to heart.

Some on the OC including you Sleeper make light of the value of our soldiers and the even make fun of their experiences and injuries. Sleeper you just experienced a small moment of what combat soldiers live with daily (and live with the rest of their lives) and front line police, fire and ems potentially encounters in their daily duties also. Evaluate this situation you had and adjust your core values.

Question? Sleeper would you have been as frighten if you had a weapon or someone within the office had a weapon also?

Yes, volunteering to be in the military and being shot at over morning coffee with a co worker, is a great comparison. Way to shoehorn that one in. And what the fuck was he going to do with a gun?

Well given that my a good majority of my clients are members of the military, I would have been comfortable with them having a weapon. However, I don't know if a good guy having a gun would have made me feel any better(except for when about 50 cops showed up, then I felt safe).

Would have been nice to have a few of Obama's drones at the Yard on that day...

Also found out today the security guy that was always helping me with my badge access that never worked was shot and killed as well. I waved hello to him as I entered the building and will never see him again; that hit hard.
