Yeah, I was going to say I bet most teams with a winning record have a similar stat. I know the royals are good they just seems to have our number.

Something with his heel. I think it flares up when he plays. He has only been a DH, and when he has gotten on base after the 5th (sans a HR), he has been pinch-run for.

^^^yep... achilles tendon inflammation. In Francona's scheme of things you also had a RH pitcher going last nite, so he was packing the lineup with lefties.

Danny Duffy is a late scratch for the game today, so the Royals will be sending Yorlando Ventura (September callup) against Kluber tonite. Need to win this one.

Yep. Hopefully he is nervous as hell and isnt close to the strike zone at times. Then maybe those 2 hits can at least produce about 4 runs...

Geez Cabrerra...just about the time you start liking this team, you start hating this team. Can they play a big game without choking? They play these games soooo tight. KC is running all over the yard and we play base to base.

Playing so tight. This reminds me of all the Tigers games so far this year.

This is when we need a big bopper who can run into one and put a 2 or a 3 spot on the board with 1 swing.

You can just see how tight they are. They dont look like they are having any fun. Yelling at themselves for outs and foul balls etc.

Meanwhile, KC is running all over the yard with steals, doubles, triples and pointing to the dugout. Laughing, having fun with each other.

The teams are not even close to the same, mentally, right now.

Brantley has been so clutch for us all year. Gets the Tribe on the board with a 3-2, 2 out single to score Swisher.

Now 3-1 KC, Tribe still batting with runners on the corners in the 6th.

Well, we got the bases loaded with the guy you want up (Raburn). But, he missed his pitch at 1-1 and hit it deep but foul. Then proceeded to work the count full before striking out on ball 4.
