I see where Rabinowitz has written a book called "Buckeye Rebirth" about the 2012 season. Going 12 - 0 was a memorable accomplishment and should be celebrated. But, I'm not sure a book is needed...yet. We all know the NCAA completely screwed the Bucks compared to some other shit they've let slide over the years, but we took the punishment like the No. 1 CFB program in the nation we are and swallowed our pride and went out and got the job done. But it felt a little lacking for some reason.

(IF) Urbie and the boys can do it again, there is no doubt a book (hell a dozen books!) should be written, but for right now I woulda preferred we stay a little quiet and keep a little humble while we run the table again and jam it right down 'Bama's throat on Jan 6. Then a whole library of Fkn books can be written about the greatest program comeback in sports history!

2012 was a fun season.

That being said....I'm over it. On to bigger and better things.

I believe that if OSU had not been banned last season that they would not have finished 12-0. I just think the attention, and pressure, of having a national championship run would have caused them to stumble at least once. Yeah, I know they are OSU and their opponents would be up for them, but if they were nationally ranked, in the constant talk for the NC game I think that brings an added emphasis to each and every game, and that they just would not have finished 12-0. I think there is something to be said about not having that national pressure on you. Heck..just look how many of the top teams falter late in the season and many times are just plain upset.

Last year was 12 days of drunken fun watching them win games in the sport of football. With the potential for a B1G Championship game and a bowl game, I'm hoping for 14 days of drunken fun watching them win games.

And that's about as deeply as I'm looking into things.

I kinduva agree. When you're standing over a 3' putt for funzies you'll drain it everytime, but when that same 3 footer is for $10 & beers, it sometimes gets away from you.

I think last year was scary. I mean if we could run through the B1G with that team, what the hell is gonna happen when we're experienced and loaded? I mean Tressel dominated and had Bollman calling the plays, with this staff we could accomplish staggering things

It's conceivable OSU could never lose another game as long as the sport of football continues to be played.
