Add another bone head play for Kipnis.

4 errors now. Pitching bailing out the defense.

The last two months it seems like he averages an error a game--it's been tough to watch.

As for errors/fielding:

Chisenhall .951
Stubbs .958
Kipnis .980
Cabrera .981
Bourn .987
Swisher .988
Santana .994

Overall, Cleveland is 21st in fielding percentage, with only the Pirates and Dodgers being worse with a winning record.

Our OF is stellar. Infield leaves a TON to be desired. They make errors on routine plays. I dont mind the error on an attempted great play if you can catch a liner right at you. But the Indians seem to make errors on both.

As for Stubbs...best day ever? 3 walks and a possible GW HR? lol

Huge hustle by Bourn pays off on the base knock (insurance) run from Swisher. Gives Perez wiggle room when he allows a 1 out double or leadoff walk lol

Off topic: The Tigers can lick my balls.

Indians head into the most important stretch of games against the Braves and Tigers. The Athletics go to Detroit for a 4 game series, so I am think the Indians will be in the WC spot heading into their series with the Tigers.

Good win. If Baltimore held on, the Indians would be 1 1/2 games out of the wildcard.

Another series win. Not pretty but just doing enough to get it done. Another off day tomorrow before the biggest 6 games of the year. 3 at Atlanta and 3 at Detroit. 3-3 or better is fine with me to be honest. I will start the Braves thread tomorrow at work.

Team batting average
Pre All Star break: .258 (11th in MLB)
Post All Star break: .239 (25th in MLB)

Team pitching
Pre All Star break: 4.31 ERA (26th in MLB)
Post All Star break: 3.05 ERA (5th in MLB)

Just think if they had a little more consistency...sheesh!

According to Baseball Prospectus, the Indians have a 28% chance of making the playoffs right now.

Why would anyone post the Tigers magic number (and not even have the amount of games right) on an Indians thread?? That is just retarded. I honestly am not sure if Wally meant that, or if he meant it to be in the MLB thread...so random for someone who doesnt usually troll.

Tigers magic number is 27, they are 24 games over .500. Both teams have 32 games left, I think. Who are Indians fans rooting for in the upcoming Tigers/A's series, since they need the A's to lose to get in the wild card, but need the Tigers to lose to get he division???????

The tribe isn't talented enough to over take Detroit so they need to catch the A's.

Ive been cheering against the As, Os, Texas, TB, Boston, etc since the ASG. Couldnt give a shit about what Detroit does. We have been playing for the WC for a long time now. I was hoping for a 2-2 split in the last series cause it was great for the WC, not because it would help catch the Tigers.
